I highly recommend the bose soundlink if you intend on using it wired into a DAC. Great review!

I would say it's absolutely fantastic for jazz. One of the things about all the marshall speakers is they have a warm sound, which goes well with intermittent sounds and pauses that are inherent in improv jazz. For example if you listen to the reverb from a piano after a key is struck, the marshall will push the ambient resonance of that mid frequency forward.

The emeberton is a Bluetooth only speaker. Other marshall speaker's do have the aux line in, but not all. Its an unfortunate trend in the speaker world.
I've had the bose for a couple of years now and I don't really care for it. The best way I can describe the bass tones is fudgy and overpowers the rest of the music. Also for whatever reason the speaker for some reason sounds better out the back then the front of it.

Currently I have JBL Boom Box which has a great base, not as much natural as I expected but good, and of sound clarity and being crispy lovely. Do you think it's worth to swap from my JBL to Marshall? Does Marshall have deeper and more natural base in max volume? What about sound clarity?
I havent heard the JBL Boom Box in person yet but would love to check it out. Itd be kind of a toss up for me... I have 2 Woburn first gens and one Woburn II. I agree that Bose mini2 sound quality is disappointing. I have this Bose mini special edition and JBL flip 5, the difference between the two is enormous. JBL has crisp and bass sound while the Bose mini is flat and whispering. I thought the sound quality is as good as its soundbars and headphones.
I’m looking for a small but really excellent portable speaker to put in my small living room that I can take to other rooms. Will the Emberton be enough to fill a small room with good sound?
I bought a marshall Emerson. Took me 15 min just to see which speaker was the best and this video helped a lot!. Thank you! Now I'm in love with the Emberton! Crank it up ! 🤘
Emberton no question its a very good sounding speaker but mine 3 month old no sound. Is there anyone who can help about how to hard reset the unit? Tnx
Best trying the speaker's after 100 hour's of use when there properly broken in. Also I don't trust any speaker with an ion battery. Some of them only last a year or two before packing in. Especially soundlink mini Bose say the battery only has a 2 year shelf life . The Bose soundlink is one of the best Bluetooth speakers ever I'm surprised that you say it's of far less quality than the other 3 the engineering behind it is fantastic it doesn't sound terrible how can millions of people be wrong?. I'd probably go for the Marshall though as there amps are superb. I don't know how anyone could take you seriously with a shirt like that 😂

I don't know what you heard. Maybe next time you can play the song file directly in the video along the speakers sound for reference. It would be great to hear the sound coming from directly from the player and then the sound coming from the recording of the speakers. Thank you for this video.
Did you end up getting the emberton? I got one yesterday and had to return it because at higher volumes, it loses its depth and distorts :(
@@alexanderayala6262 I got it and it’s ASTOUNDING. I have no idea what was up with yours. Maybe a bad unit? Mine is good at all volumes.
@@babyboy1971 i saw your comments in other vids and was wondering if you got yours! Good to know you finally got it!
Where to buy the Emberton?
have no sony xb43?
What about Sony srs xb33? Is it better than Emberton?
Does marshall's sound are good for rock music?
how do all of these compare to the jbl charge 5
Hello. Is it Bose SoundLink Mini 1 or 2 ?
It's the SL Mini 2 black/copper version.
1 jbl flip 5. 2 enberton. 3 bose mini sound limk2. 4 Bom 3
Which one can also charge your phone ?
Really thought the Marshall sounded compressed and more punchy but the JBL sounded like it had more clarity
I bought a marshall Emerson. Took me 15 min just to see which speaker was the best and this video helped a lot!. Thank you! Now I'm in love with the Emberton! Crank it up ! 🤘
How can you say Vs everything without a B&O?
do that Marshall could be used as speakerphone?
I don't know how anyone could take you seriously with a shirt like that 😂
Please compare Marshall Vs flip 5 Vs infinity clubz 750 pleaseeee.
But hey I found this emberton online for 62USD, is it legit?
Which one has the most bass?
I am using a dindinmodern bluetooth speaker, which I think is very good at the price I bought.
