I have the previous version of the Flex & Emberton 2. The Emberton sounds more "right" and open. The Bose sounds more closed in UNTIL you put it on its back, which changes the EQ--then it sounds more open. For movies, it's a tossup. The Bose has smidge more mid bass which is good for movies, but alternatively, the Emberton 2 is a tad clearer. The Emberton 3 I hear has more bass, but at the detriment of having the clarity of the 2. Bottom line, you REALLY need to try them in your space, because NO UA-cam vid will communicate how it really is. So buy and keep the one you like most based on these "informational" videos.

Bose sound really well in video comparison and I was sure about getting it based on them. The reality is different when you experience them in real. Based on my preference, Marshal is much more superior. Bose is flat full of extra base which isn't really my taste. So try to check it in a store if possible. Both are great speakers though but it comes down to the personal taste. Great review and effort from You. Loved the video. Ended up picking emberton and flip 6 for outdoors. Bose really isn't for me.
I own both, but the BOSE sounds artificial, forced by the equalizer. Unlike the Bose, the marshall has front and rear speakers, so it has a more open sound. The marshall is more pleasant to listen to. The text may be a little strange because I am using a translator.
So bose added an extra button but couldn't added a dedicated physical skipping button. I mean who said this double/triple pressed was a great ideal.🤔 smh.
