Masyadong mainstream itong pag feature sa Cebu. It did not capture the real Cebu. Iba ang cebu. Nakaka inlab ang lugar, ang mga tao, ang pagkain (not the commercial ones, but the street foods Cebu is known for), the mystery of the streets, the never-ending activities of people na parang araw araw at gabi-gabi may pista. The smallness but hugeness of the city na parang nasa loob ka lang ng isang higanteng subdivision. Downtown and uptown are far but yet so near. So extraordinary. That's the Cebu, that I love!

Nov.13,2019 watching from kingdom of saudi arabia to my Queen City of the South CEBU.
Cebuana nga pero Hermit's Cove at Bojo River lang napuntahan ko but Oslob, Badian, Samboan, Carmen, Balamban, Danao, Dalaguete, Camotes Island, Daan Bantayan, Busay, etc I haven't been there.
A nature lover like me will forever wish to be visit those places.

What makes Cebu different from other Philippine cities is andidito ang Classical arts, architectures, museums, foods, entertainment, theme parks, safari parks, canyons, gothic homes, many plaza squares, centuries old churches, chinese temples, modern tall skyscrapers, modern airport, modern seaports, boardwalks, gigantic malls, soon to open is the Cebu ocean park of SM Seaside, winter park and my favourite the Ice Skating rink of SM at SRP and many more. See, sulit po ang travel nyo dito.

What's up with all the hate? My Lola was from Cebu, my Lolo from Manila, my Dad was born in Cebu but grew up in Manila. I was born in Makati and grew up in Manila. I also love and Cebu and all my friends there, still got a lot of relatives from my Lola's side and my Lolo's side still there in Cebu. So what is up with all the hate? Can't we all just live as one? Not hate maybe but curious as to the differences of character between the Tagalogs and the Cebuano. I was born in Cebu but grew up in Manila and I can truly say most of my friends are Cebuanos. The Tagalogs mostly bullied me.Lol Also, I wonder why the Tagalogs looks down on Cebuanos or Bisaya in general.hmmm???

Hi I'm born my n Cebu city Sa Lab g m roots. General Maxilom my great grandfather . I m proud to be Cebuano or Cebuana.
It is the first time I watch Biyahe ni Drew. I literally like his honest comments and humor especially with the cheese. I am a cebuano also, I knew those place but I never gone to those places yet because I am broke. I love how he featured those places hopefully I can manage to visit even one of those places soon.

Cebu has few architectural marvels that can really be mistaken for those of another countries at a glance. Cases in point.
1. The Gothic-inspired Monastery of the Holy Eucharist in Simala, Sibonga = France
The complex is continuously expanding and still undergoing construction to this day.
2. The Taoist Temple (active temple of worship) = China
3. The Greek classical Temple of Leah (memorial monument)= Greece
The complex is still under construction since 2012.
4. The Louvre Pyramid-inspired The Pyramid in Cebu IT Park (restobar) = France

Some people prefer English than Tagalog because if we start to have a conversation with our native languages we might not be able to understand each other. We've been to Bacolod before, our tour guide was not comfortable of using Tagalog language so we had our conversation in English. Nevertheless, I love how they speak, the Hiligaynon language is so sweet. SHOUT OUT SA MGA TAGA BACOLOD also, I love your inasal.

well im from mandaue city cebu but ive never been there ever. thanks to biyahe ni drew ngayon ko lang nakita ganun pala ka ganda sa mga lugar na yan. makita sa amin yung temple of lea kasi nasa bundok sya gamit telescope pero never been there.kailangan nasa good condition yung car mo kasi elevated sa mga lugar na yan. sana makapunta din kami dyan kung may time buti pa si drew heheh.

From Cebu too and been there na sa Temple of Leah. You don't need a car to go there you can ride a motor. There's a lot of motor to be rented.

Like employees sa 10000 roses cafe ngtagalog ka sumagot ng bisaya then i spoke english still hindi accomodating still the employee spoke bisaya just that but CEBU is a very beautiful master piece. ❤❤
