For those who are sad and disappointed that Mum Flo is not going to Nigeria this Christmas - meaning no Village Vlogs 2023, please wipe your tears with former Village Vlogs, they are still fresh and rich. Let's also give Mum Flo a Christmas gift by rewatching her UA-cam videos, liking the videos and sharing with family and friends❤
Thank you my daughrer. ❤❤❤ That's a great idea. I have a library of Christmas in the village vlogs that my people can all watch to make up for lack of this year's. Here we go: Christmas 2019: ua-cam.com/video/dbl8k1SkteQ/v-deo.html Christmas 2021: ua-cam.com/video/gkrTHQx4CUg/v-deo.html Christmas 2022: ua-cam.com/video/Jd5re4VBCxc/v-deo.html
You all made the right decision not to go home. Life is really rough and hard in Nigeria. I don't know if Nigeria will ever get better in our lifetime. I will definitely miss your village vlogs. Thank you for sharing❤!
You guys are so right just came back from Enugu two weeks ago. Went to see my mom because she’s sick. The rate people are begging is out of this world. I have never seen anything like this since I’ve been living in United States of America for about 34 years now the begging is crazy
Flo you're looking stunning in that red top and with your hairstyle. Now back to the subject apologies for long post I'm a Kenyan living in Cardiff, UK. Travelled to Nigeria several times to various states including Lagos, Abuja, Asaba, Niger, Oyo, Ibadan and covered the Northern states as well through a Nigerian colleague. My first trip to Nigeria was so fun, and eye opening. Was supposed to travel from Asaba to Calabar by road but due to security concerns the trip was cancelled. I used public taxis from Lagos to Oyo state and back No issues with security perhaps the road needed sone work but overall enjoyed it. Nigeria shocked me with its infrastructural advancement despite gaping poverty in some pockets. I did evening strolls in Abuja and Lagos with no stress This was around 2016/2017. Now come the bungled elections: Kenya in 2022 and Nigeria in 2023 both with judicial intervention that ruled in the opposite directions than expected . Nigeria the economic powerhouse of Africa, Kenya a stable peaceful country and powerhouse of East Africa. Now South Africa, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Ghana at risk. We as,Africans must ask deep questions. What's going on? Who wants Africans to remain poor and with that is dekiberately eroding the gains of the past? Whats the strategy to fight back and take back our countries? For how long will diasporans remain in the abroad without going back home? How will all this new development affect us our children and African society? Lets keep talking and perhaps come on live.thanks🎉 Merry Christmas
I can feel the sadness and frustration in your eyes Aunty Flo and Uncle Odogwu. Well, let’s pray that things get better. Will you celebrate Christmas with your community over there in Spain?
Nne yes, every year the Nigerian community where we live in Spain have an all night end of year party. Me I dey offshore since last week sef and will spend Christmas and New Year here. Like I said in the video, I wan work away my sorrows. 😞 This is the worst year ever, emotion-wise. Never been more ashamed of the country I come from as we danced naked for the world to see this year.
Current state of Nigeria is depriving many from traveling for Christmas. But in all we thank God for life. Compliments of the season to you and family Ma❤
We absolutely understand both of you. As fellow #ObiDients we haven’t still recovered from the outcome of the stolen mandate 😢and the high rate of crime & evil currently is enough reasons to just skip this year 🇳🇬Christmas Biko we will watch the old village vlogs they’re always refreshing❤ Flo you’re look soooo gorgeous 😇
I also feel sad not going back home😢 last year was the first time I visited my husband’s village. It was all fun and I didn’t want it to end but the insecurity in Nigeria now its alarming and disturbing. May God help and heal our Land. I DON TIRE.
I think this is the first time I’ll comment on your videos though I watch them, you made the right decision and I feel the same way you do and you’re absolutely right in all your said. A lot of us in diaspora stayed back this Christmas too for same reason.
Brilliant video. Wishing you and your family a beautiful festive season and a great 2024. Please consider doing a video on Will writing/life insurance/estate planning (I believe you've mentioned it before, due to the nature of your job). It'd be much appreciated, as some of us are unable to speak to parents/relatives about these types of topics due to its "sensitive" nature and relatives/parents unresolved traumas with regards to family Will (a common phenomena in Nigerian families). Also, most ppl don't talk about these things in their social circles and it can be frustrating being the only person that brings up these important topic in social settings - it's be nice to learn from others rather than constantly relying on myself to figure everything out. We need to talk about important things more regularly in our friendship groups and families, in order to be as prepared as possible for the inevitable. More blessings to you 💐💐
Wishing you and your family the best this season and in the coming year. I touched on this will thing in my upcoming video that I scheduled before leaving home recently. Maybe one of these days I will make a dedicated video on that. ❤❤
Flo, nice to see u again. Merry Xmas to you and yours. Pls the less you stress abt Nigeria the best for you. We are NOT ready for any kind of change. I gave up on Nigeria 23yrs ago & since, no regrets. I suggest u do too & focus on your family. Cheers
Good for you! The truth is that if Obi's victory had not been truncated, Nigeria would have experienced an economic explosion primarily from Nigerians in the Diaspora. Whether they like it or not, Nigeria needs our finacial wherewithal and know-how. Like China and now India, Nigeria must tap into this enormous Diasporan wealth in order to develop. Continuing to ignore it or envy it, is at the country's peril. Forget the Christmas trip. It's their loss!
My dear this affected us too - and our kids are so used to going frequently but this year is a no no. The violence and insecurity in my own part of Igbo land is shocking! The people are now immune to the sight of dead bodies on a daily basis. It’s traumatic!
Is very true all you said. It is really sad what is happening to our beloved country. Every time I say we have hit the bottom and things are going to get better, we hit a new bottom. I have lost hope and finally reserve myself to living and dying in a foreign country because I don’t thing Nigeria will get better
I spent my first Christmas in Nigeria since 1986. I was highly disappointed. There was no sign of Christmas, it was business as usual. The only thing I enjoyed was the Christmas Carol in my church. The choir was marvelous.
We share your sentiments. We also didn't go this year as well. Gran Canaria worn us this year! We shall see for next year, but for now, we are right not to go. The problems are much in Nigeria!
so sorry that your plans of going to Nigeria have been truncated this year, i pray that all goes well next year so you can make up for this year. compliments of the season to you
Hi Florence, I am sad for you and for myself. Nigeria is in a mess for so long, but how to sort it, it's up to the Lord. What can anyone do, when some people close their eyes and pretend. Be careful and pray for Nigeria to wake up, while our children are still young, amennnnnnnnnn
I thank God for all the time me and my family have visited and enjoyed in Nigeria in the past 25 years . With APC in government, me and my family have decided to sale our home in Benin city. I have lost all hope i had before. And focus on the rest of my life
I don't know why I felt this your comment sounded so insensitive and disrespectful. "The way they're looking young nawa o" So they are too old to look young this way or what exactly are u trying to type here?
I feel exactly the same. I can not bring myself to travel to Nigeria because the filt is disgusting. I am still in shock that they let Tinubu defile the highest office in Nigeria in such a manner. I know Nigeria has lots of problems but I did not think we could fall this low.
Oh Aunty Flo, I will personally miss your villa vlogs mostly cow killing, bulk cooking, gift sharing, children's visit and attending meetings and markets. I'm really going to miss all that. One love ❤
Also, the cost of flying at this time of the year is rather steep! One can support so many people this Christmas just with the cost of one ticket converted to the brutalized naira! (Unless this is just a trick video and we will suddenly get a village video on Christmas day 😊)
I was among the people waiting for vlogs ooo but I’ll just rewatch old ones,I actually understand and support the reasons for not traveling this year cause we all can see the elephant in the room
I am so sorry that this is happening. I mourn with you, and I hope other nations can learn from your election. I also hope that things are resolved by the next one. The people of Nigeria don't deserve this.
It's ok if you don't want to go home for Christmas.. But things are not as bad as portrayed on the media in ala Igbo. So many people travelled to Igbo land for Christmas 🎄 despite the economic situation in Nigeria. Everywhere is bubbling in ala Igbo 🍾
I seriously can feel you guys. I travelled to Nigeria last year, and and what I saw and witnessed man eye no fit talk am, the hardship is mind-blowing to the extent that I am now giving Nigerians money on social media just to help. Nigerians are really suffering, and it's a pity that they don't even know it. They think it's normal to live like that.
You have said it ...the disrespect. I travelled to Nigeria this December and I can only say I holed up in my family house and wept. I was not motivated to go out. Only went out twice in 3 weeks. I have resolved that Nigeria may not get better in my life time so will savour only the moments spent with family over there.
Hmmm Aunty! This topic is an on-going one. 😢 I am still mourning the loss of our mandate……. It’s deeply saddening. Tinubu doesn’t believe in any climate change. They only went to Dubai to shop and had their own Agenda.. It’s well.
Nnem ehhhh ife nile kpo kpo ka chin chin😢😢😢😢things are really really expensive and hard. Insecurity is on the high too but na God hand we Dey🙏🙏🙏. It’s really sad how the election went because odi very fresh😢😢😢. Nigerian needs huge deliverance.
Truth is Nigeria wasn't designed to work 💔 it's so heartbreaking to realise this bitter truth especially when you really love and care so much for your country 😢 Worst part is fellow Nigerians that have been at the receiving end of this terribly corrupt leadership don't get it. We allow politicians to manipulate and divide us along tribe and religious lines while they gather together to share our national cake and destroy our country. Things that happens in Nigeria is unbelievable, almost impossible and can never happen anywhere else. My family is disappointed with this news bcos we were getting ready to enjoy your Christmas village vlogs but you made the best decision. Safety first.. The "sad face" thumbnail 😂
Nne you said it best. The things that happen in our country is unheard of even in other African countries. o di egwu really! Hopefully i will upload another type of content from where I am. ❤️ Hapukwa nwoke sad face. 😅
I agree with your decision. My family and I also decided to sit this one out because the way things are panning out in Nigeria is worrying! It's better to be bored and safe! Nigeria is fun but quite unpredictable in terms of security! There is so much hunger, people are beginning to loose their humanity!
Flo you aren’t the only person feeling that way. I don’t watch any news from Nigeria anymore. My hope is for countries with better governance become more condescending in their relationship with any so called leaders from the Nigeria of today. Until a new Nigeria will emerge from this rotten system of governance.
😂😂hubby's face for the thumbnail made up for this sad video. Bikonu oh, safety and yourselves first, we that live through your Christmas/Nigerian vlogs understand and hopefully we'll all go with you online next year by God's grace.😊😊
Allo allo allo...have you, have you, have you? I was really looking forward to you guys travelling home ooo. I have missed you so much and was looking forward to your usual travel home. But it is well❤ Your odogwu seems very low about it. Nawaaaoo😢 Africa as a whole needs to change the tribalism and corruption. It is too much while the basic poor African is persistently suffering. Tax payers monies are being abused by a few small minded, greedy people. IT HURTS OOOO😢😢😢
Your hubby is right OOO. That has been my fear. I really wanted to go with my family this year but only the thought of the insecurity gives me heartattack
Didn’t go back too! Can’t be bothered about what’s happening there. when the people who live there and pay tax there are ready for change, they will get change.
With intense hardship due to low income, unemployment, scarcity of Naira and petroleum products comes increase in crime and corruption. OMO save yourself, only go to Nigeria if it is absolutely necessary or when the government decides to move in the right direction.
I agree with you about the unnecessary size of Tinubu's delegation to the climate summit. Going with a large group did not mean they made a valuable contribution.
Sister rest this year. You and hobby really try Only flight cost for for 4, spending money, malaria prevention, presence, full cow as you do,hmmm It is well
Economy tickets from Spain to Nigeria for four of us do not cost so much. But you have to book on time. At the end of the day, affordability depends on individual. Depends on what is important to who. Some people will prefer to spend the same amount on one piece of designer clothing. 😂
Please cheer up oooh. Please leave the politicians out of your lives so you don’t sadden yourselves . They all support themselves after being political opponents. Enjoy the season !💞
As a Nigerian, I’m depressed. He rigged cos he knew he would lose. And because of that he has nothing to offer since he’s desperate. Moreover, no one expects anything positive from a thief.
He had not celebrated that stupid birthday when we filmed this video. Like I said, they do one, we don't act they do a worse one next time, we still don't act. He celebrated that birthday when 80 people (now 130+ people) had just been b*mbed dead in Kaduna.
Abeg make una let election go. Una time go come later. The only question I have for all of you about Nigeria is what have you done personally to help move Nigeria forward?
I just hope this is a prank sha I know you guys just want to pull our legs and take us unaware maybe by 28th now you will post one video in umunze on the way to go meet grandma in agulu ok nah anticipating on it. Make I no hear say one thing one thing happen e come be truth unu bu anya nji afu uzo na east for Christmas as I be Ara bu otu nah 😂 don't break my heart I don tell you
hehehe the prank would be if I pretended that we are travelling. But that would be a very mean prank because some people are genuinely invested in those village vlogs. Sadly, we are not travelling. No need to play games. Oya, ala bu otu now that you have confirmed it, prepare to go home! 😆
You are great blogger keep it up the Igbos should secure their home land this IPOB AND ECN terrorist activities.many of my friends could not go home let them develop themselves Happy new year 7:44
Those that said over there desd body will an ugbo rule them are now looting NEMA whatehouse, dangite snd bua trucks carrying food stuff, the mandate is really mandating on them, this is the beginning if sorrow for them until they do away with tribal and rigious sentiments.
You are working in Nigeria over the Christmas period. Is that the reason for not travelling for your holidays. It's sad that you have politicised it. The insecurity problem is caused by your kinsmen in IPOB. Will Obi curtail them when he has never criticised them
You people should come home A lot of people are traveling nothing is happening. Is you people that's in abroad that feels everybody in Nigéria are dead.
This is a very insensitive comment, a country that would have had obvious progression by now had our mandate not been done away with is not moving forward at all. Insecurity is getting worse and Nigerians don't care as per your comment.
This must be your first time on my channel else you will know that I travel to my village more than you that live in that Nigeria. What part of "there is nothing to celebrate this year" do you not understand?
Just say you booked yourself for work and that’s the reason you are not able to go to Nigeria. Stop bashing Tinubu and stop turning your channel into a political tool for Peter Obi. The issue of Nigeria was not created in a day and unfortunately cannot be solved in a day irrespective of the government in power. Even Peter Obi cannot solve Nigeria’s problem in a day. Very disappointed with this video and the tribalistic undertone of you and your husband.
I'm Kenyan and your response is typical of the paid government bloggers in our country. Africa is our business you have no right to tell anyone what to feature on their channel. If you don't like it get out!
It pains me that a full grown igbo man and Igbo woman are still talking about making Nigeria great, U people are just dreaming in a dream world… U think it will get better continue it is an illusion that can never be completed.
You will continue to live with that chronic pain till you get it into your skull that without good governance in Nigeria, you are going nowhere with whatever other agenda you have.

Nothing will change Nigeria. If you want to visit do so. usually the villages are safe in the east during Christmas season.
I am highly disappointed this year for not getting any village and market videos. All the same take care of yourselves and the kids.

There is no insecurity in Igboland. More people came home than other years.
@@appleg4765 there is a huge lot of insecurity from my part of Igbo land. We will have to agree to disagree on this point

Good evening Madam Flo, your hair is so beautiful. It suits you really well.
Don't worry Sis. Flo I will be representing all of us this Christmas. Doing this year's own in the village
How many children do you have Flo? It’s amazing that you’re able to travel yearly with the cost involved with children
I spent my first Christmas in Nigeria since 1986. I was highly disappointed. There was no sign of Christmas, it was business as usual. The only thing I enjoyed was the Christmas Carol in my church. The choir was marvelous.

Your hubby is right OOO. That has been my fear. I really wanted to go with my family this year but only the thought of the insecurity gives me heartattack
It is very sad 😥 😞 honestly, we went home last year and there was a bit of fear in the air 😢
Wise decision.
Oh dear 😂 I’ve been expecting your vlog
No now who will show me Oga Red Red 😂😂😂😂
Didn’t go back too! Can’t be bothered about what’s happening there. when the people who live there and pay tax there are ready for change, they will get change.
With intense hardship due to low income, unemployment, scarcity of Naira and petroleum products comes increase in crime and corruption. OMO save yourself, only go to Nigeria if it is absolutely necessary or when the government decides to move in the right direction.
Odogwu is here ooo😅😅😅
Noooooooo me that have been warming up for it ewoooooo😢😢😢😢
I agree with you about the unnecessary size of Tinubu's delegation to the climate summit. Going with a large group did not mean they made a valuable contribution.
That's what they went into the office for. To eat, squander money, and crush Nigeria.
Very sad and disappointing I feel exactly the same me and my husband I not traveling this year
Sister rest this year.
You and hobby really try
Only flight cost for for 4, spending money, malaria prevention, presence, full cow as you do,hmmm
It is well
Economy tickets from Spain to Nigeria for four of us do not cost so much.
Oh no 😢
Where was the former vp staying before
You are right to have stayed back, we are all sad with the way the election and judgement turned out.
As a Nigerian, I’m depressed. He rigged cos he knew he would lose. And because of that he has nothing to offer since he’s desperate. Moreover, no one expects anything positive from a thief.
Flo nwannem, what about akpabio that celebrated his birthday in a stadium, when people are crying of hardship
He had not celebrated that stupid birthday when we filmed this video. Like I said, they do one, we don't act they do a worse one next time, we still don't act. He celebrated that birthday when 80 people (now 130+ people) had just been b*mbed dead in Kaduna.
Oh! Did you see Thieftinubu traveling to Lagos for Christmas. That's another madness. Nigeria is doomed.
Emi lo kan them go see wennn they just start
Abeg make una let election go. Una time go come later. The only question I have for all of you about Nigeria is what have you done personally to help move Nigeria forward?
Yea Nigerian's state right now doesn't even give people the desire to actually travel, it's a mess right now
Me I already predicated you wont go to Nigeria this year.
Your husband's facial expressions tho...hahahahah
You guys scaringly look alike 😂
😢
So sad 😥😢😪
Biafra Government in Exile is the only government people listen to in southeast. It's the only government that fights for the people 's interest.
My sister life is important, I thank God almighty you and your family did not go to Nigeria this 2023
You are working in Nigeria over the Christmas period. Is that the reason for not travelling for your holidays. It's sad that you have politicised it. The insecurity problem is caused by your kinsmen in IPOB. Will Obi curtail them when he has never criticised them
You people should come home
A lot of people are traveling nothing is happening.
Is you people that's in abroad that feels everybody in Nigéria are dead.
Traveling is also expensive dear and inflation as well is heavy
Just stay silent. Even a Kenyan understands
