One thing that the najia system is better than the west is that in the west once you have an encounter with the criminal justice system, your life is done, because any job , travel or benefit you apply for, the background check will show up, you cannot vote, you cannot hold an electrical office, you cannot work in the circular world except you start your own business.you are basically done.

I visited Kirikiri Medium with my old school association some months ago ( with needed clothes, sanitary pads, exercise books and money) and i realise how much we take our freedom for granted. Thank God for a prompt bail perfection,The male cell is worse and nothing to write home about...People were parked on the floor like canned sardines when it's time to sleep, Dog food is way better than what they are being fed with.... I paid 25k for a bunk bed full of bedbugs! Its such a crazy feeling and i can so relate with everything she said

Hello ,have you tried convincing her to get in touch with some lawyers to help some of those on awaiting trials please ?This could be of help ,mostly ,those lawyers that help without collecting any money (pro bono).
A lot of people are in prison not because they haven't been granted bail, but because they haven't met those conditions. It could be things as small as 50k to bring them out. But because they don't have family, they're still rotting away there. Lawyers only represent the client, but they still need money to perfect those bail conditions. So getting a lawyer is only one part of the deal, the other part still requires money
I will really appreciate if you can do a documentary on Kirikiri prison! Its possible bro! If the prisoners have mobile phone, then there is enough evidence you need to make a story. Im sure if you give the prisoners money, you will have more than enough videos!!
Sometime we went for prison outreach. We were told of someone that came there for crimes. But when he was leaving he has happy he came there because in the prison he gave his lime to Jesus and became a new man. But may we never get there for something we did not do.

Sometime we went for prison outreach. We were told of someone that came there for crimes. But when he was leaving he has happy he came there because in the prison he gave his lime to Jesus and became a new man.
But may we never get there for something we did not do.
