You could do a masterclass just on dealing with drunk patrons at the Magic Castle. Great performance. Tough crowd there - you get a mix of super nice, enthusiastic people who are great audience members and obnoxious, difficult ones that make your job more difficult. And it definitely skews more toward the latter as midnight approaches. You're a true professional.
Dude. You do this to me all the time. I'm an amateur magician and I learn a lot by watching you. But I get so caught up along with the crowd that I miss "the move". So good Hannibal! Just pure entertainment. And the way you handle the inebriated....so good.
Absolutely insane crowd control. I've watched this twice..no idea how 40 minutes just flew by. So incredibly entertaining, hats off to you sir! I like being on stage as well, but it feels like you just taught a master class!
that was wonderful. im kilometers, countries, days and years away from you and i can enjoy your content. this is awesome. some day, one day i want to visit where you perform and meet you in person. you're an inspiring one. Thank you and best luck.
Hello Hannibal, I‘ve been following your work for years and it still continues to inspire my own magic. At the moment I am reading your „Across the table“ book and I like it a lot! I wish you all the best!
Amazing, as always!!! As John Cleese said many years ago, life is about having fun. It sounds trite and superficial but the guy KNEW!!!! This was FUN!!!!!
He's back to amaze and entertain! Honestly, from watching this video it seems your jokes have put more money into the hat than the tricks! Not that they aren't related of course. Great stuff!
I just found your channel and I've been binge watching your videos lately and I can't get enough. The way you balance everything here is mind boggling. Controlling the room, preforming unbelievable magic tricks and doing a standup routine at the same time? You seem to be 10 steps ahead of everyone in that room, fascinating. If you ever perform in Utah I will be there!
Such a fun performance! Your magic and interaction with the crowd are an absolute joy to watch! I found myself thinking of a word alongside the woman as she came up with hers, and was quite impressed when you rightly guessed my word as a noun! I so hope to have the honor of seeing you perform there at the Castle live someday!
No, thank you for posting your performances on here. I already know a bunch of (mostly) card tricks, but I'm more interested in how to actually perform them for an audience. I will say though, I am not sure I could ever do bar magic as that looked like an audience I would never be able to control
When Meade and I worked the Tower together, we kept a fan behind the bar. If we got a cheap audience that tipped poorly, we'd fart into the fan to drive them out. GTFM is what Sheets taught us!
I think I know how he guessed the card in the first trick (he didn't guess duh). Then he showed the three of hearts which was laying on the table. I can't figure that one out, he messed me up internally.
Always thought your magic tricks were fun to watch. Always nice to see someone you look up to actually take the time to ask someone their pronouns. Hell yea.
I love your magic and how you manage the people in the room. So funny and so amazing seeing your act
Really glad you enjoyed it!
I'm very happy that you are performing again after covid. Wish you all the best
11:47 I loved how SMOOOOTH that was done. Nobody noticed it until pointed out, it was so brilliant!

I truly, truly love what I do and the people that I get to do it for.

Man that peek....so smooth.
Your ability to deal with/work the mob is astonishing!

I'm glad you're enjoying the book. I started gathering stories for a second volume, sometime in the murky future.

very talented man, your articulation is amazing :)
Keep watching these videos with the finger on the rewind button, very enjoyable and your delivery is so flawless, much love from Germany!
i love comedy and i love magic
and this captures both of these things. amazing content.
I love your performance, the way that you handle the crowd, the tricks, everything. You're an inspiration.
Fantastic show, fantastic art!
5:39 thank you so much Hannibal
That was truly remarkable
Dude your patter and personality are very entertaining. I love watching your presentations, especially how you handle feedback from the audience.
I like how at 5:37 Becky (I hope I heard her name right) saw how you did the trick but obviously didn't want to spoil the mood.
Good to see you back.
Love from the UK
11:48 just insane how many times I had to rewind that 😂

Lmao watching those corporates was equally entertaining
I love your style of magic, and your ability to command a room. Here's hoping I can see you live one of these days. Much love from Las Vegas.
Great performance... again. 🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️ So cool.

this was good man, nice job!
Love your work, personality, and creativeness. My favorite effect would not exist or even been created without you.
Keep it up man

Me too. I'm always so excited to see his videos.
you're so good. love your style
That is amazing
love the use of confrontation as distraction... i just wish i could be that forcefully smooth all three ways. re the first sayyy 10 minutes.
Love his stuff. Amazing how well he can work, even with non-sober folks. 😂😂 FFS, tip that man... GAH...!!!!
Just having fun!

Oh my fucking god he's back 😍
Great SHOW... when and where was this?
The library bar at the Magic Castle in Hollywood California.
I think I know how he guessed the card in the first trick (he didn't guess duh). Then he showed the three of hearts which was laying on the table. I can't figure that one out, he messed me up internally.
'Mazin! :)

最高!
its a bit cheap as a real wizard performing magic as "tricks". i figured that out
Love the magic but went a little to long on talking about lying. Had to fast forward. Remember the fast forward button is the enemy.
