I just love how PRS keep coming up with new interesting combinations of pickups. Seems like an evolution / combination of the PRS 513 / Silversky! Amazing!
I love having dozens of tone options on one guitar. It’s why the Seymour Duncan P-Rails w/ Triple Shot is my favorite setup on almost any guitar. Literally a Swiss Army knife for guitar tones.
@@jimmyparris9892 Great point. The Triple Shot setup is far more intuitive. You can glance at the switches and know what combination you have on. Using the knob combinations on the Fiore is far less obvious.
@@SDisonYT I have a 1988 studio model PRS. Its the rare HSS config like the Fiore. Anyway, I bought it used in 1990 ish and the only way to switch pickups was with the stupid rotary knob. @@valebliz Remember that radius is used to calculate the size of a circle, and when applied to the guitar, the fretboard is just a tiny slice of that circle. This means that the bigger the circle is, the smaller of a slice that makes up the fretboard, and the less of a difference it makes. I doubt a human could tell the difference between 16" radius and 20" radius on touch alone, but below 10" the differences are pretty pronounced.

Yeah it's similar with a strat, and it does take a bit of getting used to. Especially if you play like me and your strumming/picking hand is out of control.
Basically all the bolt models are signature guitars so I get why they don’t, but I def think they should start offering some bolt guitars as standard range non-signature instruments with no names attached to them so they could offer stuff like that.
I have a SSky and I’m Not tempted in the least by a Fiore. The Sky for what it’s meant to do is astounding. Maybe more toggles for the money but the tone JM put into this is ridiculous. The neck carve is also perfection.
@@nevillecragg9066 I think the Silver Sky nails the sound of the 60s era strats that John loves, and sounds amazing doing it. But the Fiore has such a wider pallette which, for me, sounds so much more interesting across the board.

For over £2500 I do wish PRS would give us some roasted maple necks. Is that asking too much? I can get a Charvel for £800 with locking tuners, luminlay side dots and a roasted maple neck and the build is pretty impeccable.
I mean... It's cool. But my G&L Comanche can do 88% of these things and it's way simpler on a switch than having all of the push/pull stuff. The splitting humbucker in the bridge is very cool though. That's a bit next level.
Dude, I have seen you comment on around 30 videos over the past year always asking for stainless steel frets. You ok bro? Lots of folks buy and sell guitars wayyy before wearing down frets and many people do not like stainless steel. Let it go my man.

Yes I agree, the other guy who used to do it with the Capt. was irritating to say the least and no where near the level of Pete in feel and soul.
