- Clint shows a wonderful comedic side that wasn't seen often. In this segment of the 1966 episode of "The Lucy Show" Clint plays Lucy's boyfriend, Frank Winslow. Lucy is trying to get his measurements to knit him a sweater for his birthday. The entire scene is hilarious and Clint is just priceless, especially when he says, "I should show you blue prints more often"
Clint Walker was a big guy!! He just exudes manliness without even trying it seems. From head to toe, he had the right stuff!!!

absolutely truly heart stopping gorgeous was clint. now that is a MAN! everything is manly perfection! that build, that height, that clean, dark thick rich hair, the facial structure of his face, those piercing blue eyes, his mannerisms, his walk, that perfect flawless tanned skin! that man in his prime must have been hit on 24/7 365 days of the year for years! LOL! just incredible!
He would have been perfect to play Superman.

Grass Valley was the perfect town for him to retire in; no pretense just hard working rural folks. My children went to horse summer camp in Grass Valley. I was always looking for him.🙂

Exactly why I believe John Wayne refused to do a picture with Clint Walker when he was asked to. I believe he was afraid he would not be the number one looker in his own movie. He already knew he was beat in every way. Also the humility that Clint Walker exuded made his manliness that much greater. Never a braggadocio.
Just think if he'd guest starred on the Batman TV series that year as Superman. He'd have been perfect.

Clint was in The Ten Commandments . He ended up with a non speaking part as one of the palace guards. I read that he was up for the part of Joshua. One problem though , the scene where Josh. has escaped from the copper mines and has made his way to Moses' camp and is cornered by the dogs was a problem . C. Heston comes to rescue the exhausted Joshua and has to carry him in his arms back to camp. Heston could not pick up Walker . John Derek got the part. True ??? I do not know . Believable ??? Very !!!
Tony Tune, don't know the answer to that Ten Commandments-Clint Walker story, but somewhere on YT is Clint telling how he rescued Cecil B. DeMille's secretary by fixing her flat tire. The woman had not told Clint who she worked for but he did tell her about the meeting with Cecil B. DeMille.
Changing her tire made Clint late. When Clint arrived at the studio to meet DeMille, DeMille said, "You're late, young man."
Clint explained why.
DeMille said, " I know. That was my secretary."

Clint tells that he got the part of the centurion in Ten Commandments because the part called for blue eyes and his were blue. Boy were they blue. 🙂

I totally agree with everything theodorebear2009 said above about Clint!!! Thank you for posting this video! Cint was absolutely hilarious in it! And, for him to be able to be so funny with comedic great Lucy just shows us all what a great actor he is! I very much enjoyed watching it!
clint was old school real mean. great physique and handsome square jaw. even for the milennium era he would be a stand out kinda guy. we was a monster to most in the 60s i wonder what he looks like or still alive?
He died aged 90, May 22, '18. Congestive heart failure.
@@amberlights1 l had the honor to meet Clint and his wife Susan before he passed, the nicest people ever!! Still gorgeous blue eyes with the flirty twinkle and as wholesome of a man in real life as on screen. A very happy high point of MY life!!!! R.l.P dear Clint!!!! GOD bless you Susan & Val
