I know this is old but I just built out my rig and equipped it with all new Kondor Blue cables and of course I needed the Mondo Ties to manage! Thanks Armando!
@@mondobytes I am currently shooting a build video for my FX30 as well! I wanted to use Caleb's Cineback as a base but ended up going with another brand due to missing the Cineback releases all the time. Looking fwd to seeing yours and I will mention you in my video! Really enjoyed seeing all the footage of the western shoot from all of you guys that were involved. So cool that you get to work together like that!
I both use and love the mondo ties. I would say that the case they come in is a bit overkill, not really used after the mondo ties come out, and take up a lot of space. Getting rid of them would lower the price as well as being more eco-friendly. Just something to think about. But yes, I will be buying the orange ones!
Thanks for the feedback, we’ve seen people use the case for other things like putting their wired ear buds for monitoring. Also some put pieces of tape and accessories for their lav. But you’re right, maybe we can offer a caseless version for those who don’t want it.
i've been using the sprig set, you should def make these into 6 packs. i like the loop so i just ordered a pair in comparson, but sprig has you beat on the holder for the plugs vs that ugly ass kondor blue. that case is hideous, and way too big. also, need more color options. i have a few diff rig options depending what i'm shooting, but for festivals and concerts, the glow in the dark set really come in clutch having to assemble all my stuff in the dark.
Funny, feedback has been great on the case and people love it, also we include it for FREE and don't charge extra for it 😉 Though if you prefer the Sprig case you probably can still use it with Mondo Ties as it seems like it has 1/4"-20 threaded holes. Since you have you buy the Sprig holder separately, it's not like it's costing you more money getting Mondo Ties and a Sprig Holder if you prefer storing them that way. I just throw mine in a my CRD Bag so I use my case to store my earbuds. More color options are coming soon, we just find that black is still the #1 seller and its the one most people will buy but we do have plan to make more or limited runs like we did with Phoenix Orange. My biggest gripe with every cable management solution is that it's NOT robust. Not sure if you've seen the original Mondo Ties video: ua-cam.com/video/0SXwISMynQg/v-deo.html but no other cable management can keep your cables secure and protected like how we designed it. This is why it's become the fastest selling cable management solution and you're starting to see them on big Hollywood sets, because the #1 reason they're switching over is that other solutions are not strong enough to hold multiple cables or end up falling off after multiple uses because they become weak or brittle. That will never happen with Mondo Ties because of the way it was designed, we over engineered by over 100% which is ridiculous and beyond how people will use it but that's ok, because we want to make the best product out there.
@@mondobytes I’d def be in for custom color runs for sure. I would like options I can pop on and off like the sprigs for diff setups I run my rigs on and my other rigs in general. The sprigs don’t hold as many ties as I’d like, but I’d also like to see maybe some clips in diff directions / angles if that’s possible
@@SHVWNCOOPER We'll have more colors soon, as for popping them on and off, you can just hand tight them. I'd trust Mondoties hand tight over the sprigs and I made this video for you just to demo that. TBH I could of done a better job tightening Mondoties but I wanted to show you even in a worst case scenario it's way stronger and easier to use than the other guys.
