Thank you for introducing Puerto Rican dishes. To save some time try to make the Sofrito from scratch and you could always freeze it in batches in small freezer bags to use in stews, soups and beans dishes and your home will smell amazing. Good job on the Coquito.
I love that you"re introducing Puerto Rican dishes however learn how to make the Sofrito from scratch and you could always freeze it in small freezer bags and use it in other dishes like soups, stews or beans it will save you a lot of time, plus your home will smell amazing. You should also use Sazon to give more flavor and a nice color to your food. Good job on the coquito.
Sorry I meant try blending your Onions, green peppers, cilantro, garlic, tomatoes, parsley and some olive oil, altogether in a blender then freeze the mixture in batches in small freezer bags of about 2 to 3 tablespoons and you’ll never need to buy Sofrito In a jar ever again. It last a long time in the freezer, just take a batch before cooking and let it thaw in warm water until you’re ready to use. I’m a Vegan Puerto Rican living in Bermuda and I enjoy your videos so much. Keep up the great work!
This looks so good! If you really want to save more time you can use frozen holy trinity instead of cutting it up fresh. And best of all, you can get it from Walmart!
Gracias from a Cubana with 💕🙋🏾♀️💕🎄⛄🎄 Happy Holidays
