I got the GS888W, we have the app on our smart phone, but having some difficulty connecting them. Can I ask some simple questions? Obviously the 'ping your phone' alert is a huge plus.
I prefer the design of the other Siterwell alarms that you reviewed in my opinion. Not a fan of the test button design with the displays. I also think the alarm tests way too fast in my opinion especially with carbon monoxide.
I think you should set up a system test with cool alarms like that weatherproof gentex alarm and the system sensor mass. And do it on the 10ud. In the middle maybe add a l series with a green lens and since you have never done that I think you should. It would be interesting.
What neat detectors! The tone is much like the Atom, but seemingly a bit higher in pitch. The colors, design and features are very nice, which i like. Very nice!
But does it actually listen to you when you try to silence it? Bc my husband barely burned something on the stove top yesterday and the only way I could get it to shut off was removing the batteries. Because I would press the silence button and it would say “Alarm silenced” and right after that it would say “alarm silence cancelled” and continue to go off. We replaced the one in the hall with a nest protect and we have loved it so far. I’m short so the ability to silence it from my phone is an ear saver.
I am unsure if you do video requests but mine isn't about what alarms to put on the board, both my teacher and aunt have eclepsy and they are interested in what I do and collect, are you able to make a video without any strobing in it please?
