Oh I love D.O. he has a song in spanish too, I believe it's called Si fueras mia. There's also an english version for that but listening to him sing in spanish as a Spanish-speaking person is amazing
Their is no English version of Si Fueras Mia. But there is a Korean version called It’s Love. Written by D.O. The English version is of the song called Rose and DO also wrote the lyrics for the Korean versions.

D.O. is part of k-pop boyband EXO, and they’ve been in the industry for 12 years now. If you want an excellent discography, look no further. Their albums are the best, and reacting to their concert stages are a real treat.
D.O.’s real name is Do Kyungsoo, so you can tell the inspiration for his stage name with EXO. As an actor he is known as Doh Kyungsoo, and if you ever watch movies, I highly recommend them. He is an phenomenal actor.
He recently started his own company for his solo activities, after his 10 year contract with SM Entertainment expired and he chose not to renew. He’s still a part of EXO as one of the main vocalist, and will continue to collaborate with them on group projects.
He has two mini albums under the name D.O., called «Empathy» and «Expectation». Both have wonderful highlight medleys you can react to if you want a taste of his music. But his first album as soloist Doh Kyungsoo is coming out in May, and is called «Blossom». Super excited for it.
Kyungsoo loves singing with a guitar, and often does so together with his bandmate Chanyeol. He’s also the best when it comes to singing in English. You could watch his Lee Mujin Service episode for some really good examples of it. Also his cover of «Rewrite the stars» went viral last year, on The Seasons with AKMU. He is also good at singing in Spanish, Japanese and Chinese.
Sorry for the long comment, but I really hope you’ll check out more of D.O. and EXO. I think you’ll like them a lot.

I agree! I love wholesome songs. I'm a writer, and I write sweet (wholesome) romantic comedy because I can't stand the steamy stuff. I love wholesome entertainment. That's probably why I listen to Korean pop more than American pop. There seems to be a lot more wholesome pop songs in Korean than in English. D.O. is awesome. I love a lot of EXO songs. Aw, you're so sweet to give a shoutout to your wife. My favorite EXO songs: Monster, Obsession, Growl, and Love Shot. Growl is one of their older ones, but it's SUCH a fun video! It's just them dancing but very well choreographed. Fun reaction! Thanks!
Congratulations! If you enjoy incredible vocals, fabulous choreography, and striking performances, EXO members, collectively and with their subunit/solo activities, are the performers to watch. D.O. has incredible vocal performance and range, easily one of the best singers I've ever heard in terms of control and technique. But he is a very humble and simple person, so you won't find him flexing his vocals everywhere. There are quite amazing clips of him with EXO where you can check him out and the other members as well, I recommend you the Acoustic Session from a concert of theirs, the title is: EXO(엑소)- Acoustic Session + Lady Luck +(시선둘,시선하나)What If. This video is the perfect place to introduce you to EXO's vocals.

He's not my bias in EXO but i can improve that he has the best vocal n tone ( like a western tone ) in kpop

If I ever get tired of hearing robotic vocals in k-pop I tend to go back to EXO for more natural vocals. 👀

I am glad you found DO. He is great, and his group, EXO, are vocal kings. Seriously. Check out their song MAMA to catch the early range. Also popular are Monster, Wolf, Kokobop, and their most recent, Cream Soda. I am glad you are having fun exploring Kpop. There is a lot to look at. Eventually it would be fun to see your take on New Jeans, Itzy, Shinee and Big Bang. All very different from eachother and have great quality in production and performance. Your daughter may really like New Jeans. They performed at Lollapalooza last year.

Yes! D. O is by far one of my favourite Kpop artists. Even though somebody is a nice song, he has a lot more to offer. Be it as a solo artist, actor or as a member of exo. I would definitely recommend you to listen to songs like "that's okay" or "I'm gonna love you".
Exo are great if you are looking for vocals, they are known as kpop's vocal kings. About d.o he is really interesting singer, his voice is really comforting, he got amazing adllips, his personality is worth to get known from close point of view, you might really love him since he really puts a lot of emotions into his songs

D.O. aka Kyungsoo, the vocal king 👑 Killing voice of EXO only portrays a tiny part of D.O.’s ability, since he was about to part ways with his former company back then, they literally skipped all his killing parts to minimise the attention he would get. In fact, I strongly recommend you to listen to his Falling Like the Stars cover and his Rewrite the Stars cover with AKMU Suhyun! They are so good and went viral 🔥

In this song D.O is very calm and you don't see his potential well, you have to check other songs or the program of Lee Mujin Service where D.O sings this song but also covers like Ed Sheeran or James Arthur, Or check out the highlights from his two solo albums that are snippets of the songs on the album or listen to other songs from his albums, my favorites are "Lost" and "Lost Acoustic" version of their first album and the first "Im gonna love you" or "Dad" but that has to be with lyrics...

I really enjoyed that. Even though I got into K Pop because of BTS there are many groups I appreciate like EXO, Mamamoo, Pentagon. These groups have amazing singers. One of my favourite EXO song is an actual EXO- CBX song called ‘Papercuts’. Many EXO members like many K Pop singers as they get older, have turned into acting including DO. They are not just boy bands in Korea as you might have guessed from your experience with BTS. I think a more apt name for them is entertainers as they all seem to be fairly multitalented. As much as I appreciate them all I must admit my favourite is BTS of course, but all are worthy of reviewing. Mamamoo is group of girls, I will not call them a girl group as they are to me more amazing than many girl groups. There are many fabulous solo artists that I like also. It’s a whole new experience in music that suits my taste. Great review.
