I used the magic eraser the next day after I ironed on the wrong side of heat and bond. Luckily it worked. I’m definitely going to get some magic iron cleaner.

Old school style is distilled white vinegar put in the irons water reservoir. Steam press cotton over and over til empty. Then run 2 chambers of water steaming it and viola it’s clean inside and out ... for pennies.

I would be hesitant to to put a hot iron onto a dryer sheet. Thinking it would melt the sheet and make a bigger mess.

In my day (old school), we used wax paper and aluminum foil, only on the non-taflon.

Hi Patricia. Thank you so much for watching my video! I really appreciate it. To answer your question, yes, the white terry towel turned black because the iron was very dirty. When I used the Magic Iron Cleaner, it removed the dirt from the iron and transferred it onto the towel. The towel then needed to be washed in the washing machine.
