ok so um. there's backstory to this kind of.
let's say hypothetically odysseus IS pure vanilla in this position. the beasts are against dark enchantress, knowing she plans to double cross them. dark enchantress has Plans for pure vanilla and is holding him hostage. but the beasts won't free him willy nilly.
financier (lady justice, a goddess, based on her costume) can't stand this anymore. and because her justice involves divine justice, that gives her access to deity cookies. she comes to stormbringer (idk why her. obligatory zeusbringer) seeking divine intervention. stormbringer agrees.. if financier can convince the beasts to free pure vanilla.
