If that thing stays planted with the speed gearing I am pretty certain it's gonna hit 160km/h.... nice solid runs. Looks like it needs some speed to get it to stick.

I think you're right Tomley, it seems to be more planted the faster it went. Also, some radio adjustments and maybe a shorter servo horn would work well 🤔
The stock tires are quite an issue i think at 160kph. People are complaining about them.

I'm amazed at how fast this little car is. 42mph on 2s, 65mph on 3s and 80mph on 4s i can definitely see this car goes 100mph with speed gears someday. Thanks to you and many other youtubers i definitely need one of these little cars in my life. I might buy one of these in red\Carbon Fiber version in the next couple of months. Thanks for the amazing video.

It's nice to see a new brand more or less come out of nowhere and release a decent looking car. I was worried about durability but I suppose that's less of a worry with an on road car as long as you can avoid parking bricks 😂

From what I’ve seen of these online so far, I’m surprised they are so stable. Good stuff.
Seems the faster I went, the more stable it became. However I think some minor adjustments in the steering will help alot!
Great runs man, the 120A CF rtr model sure is quick out the box. I plan to swap out the stock 60A ESC that came in my one!
The CF and Alloy rtr seem close in speed, just the 4s makes a huge difference!

If (big if lol), it can achieve 170kmh with the stock gearing and on 4s, it should be the fastest rtr on the market out of the box! As for the fastest 3s and 4s, I'd have to do some research haha

It is a 2200mah 4s vant 120c lipo. I guess I just got a good one haha 😄

Awesome run Matthew, and that was multiple runs back to back and it wasn't that hot, if you do 1 run the let it cool on between it'll be even cooler, I'd say it's capable of the 160 based off what I've seen others get with gearing changes
I think so to dude, consider I was only 30kmh off. If it gets over 160mmh, does that make it the world's fastest rtr rc car?

Just bought my carbon fiber version with the 52 tooth gold spur gear going to be 40/52 to get the 160 claimed on the box says with updating gear

I used a vant 100c 2200mah.
I like cnhl, vant, zeee, nxe, just to name a few. If you want to push the maximum speeds, I tend to buy the better quality batteries

You need to pull your antenna wire out from that bundle if you want any range. FYI
I have not seen any body that has put a cooling fan on the motor yet I have one on mine to keep it cool

Second review of the carbon rtr I've seen with broken tailpipes.... hope this is addressed before I receive mine in the coming weeks....qc is very important for an up and coming brand.
It's very unfortunate 😕 I think rlaarlo is aware of the issue. If you do recieve it broken, contact them, I think they'll help you out!!
@@MatthewSimm I've heard good things about their customer service and they've been very communicative with me leading up to the release of this one. That said, at the price point they're planning to hit they can't afford to send things broken and have people wait to get a new item fixed.

My headlights do not work or the body fan where are they plugged in and when does fan come on, as tried a few slots but not working, rear lights are working

I am going to tell you about my experience with this garbage car and this garbage brand, I bought the Rlaarlo ak 917 carbon fiber version, and the first thing when making the purchase I bought it with fast shipping paying 19 euros more for said shipping, supposedly it arrived in a week, well, lie, it took me 20 days to arrive, when it arrived it arrived with the steering out of adjustment, with one wheel facing one side and the other facing the opposite side, after looking closely at the car I realized that the screw that The connection between the servo arm and the servo horn was loose, and then I realized that one of the two small screws that the servo horn has is missing. In addition, this car has a serious signal loss problem. I am writing to the support. technician of this garbage brand, and until today they have been giving me my time, they say that the missing screw is too small to send it, anyone who buys this car forgets to be able to return it is impossible, they brag that they have good technical support and it is a garbage, just like the customer treatment, I do not recommend products from this brand, it is a waste of money
Raz and Kevin are the LOUDEST 'look at me' narcissist speed runners. They hold ZERO RECORDS thus by definition are not the ultimate speed runners. They are the ultimate speed shillers that are mostly advertisements for themselves to make money.
I honestly don't know much about the speed running community and who the best/record holders are, I mainly just do it for fun with cheaper rc cars haha
