Just signed with the Party Animals, moving to Savannah this week. I’m from the Texas Coast and do a ton of saltwater fishing. Found your channel trying to learn some areas to catch some fish in Savannah. Great content!
Great video and thanks for posting. Only thing is that the Lowcountry is a name indigenous to SC. Savannah is part of the Coastal Empire. SC has the Lowcountry, High-country, Midlands, and the Piedmont.
Yes I know. When I launched the channel I was fishing exclusively in SC. Since then I’ve relocated to Savannah and then to Richmond Hill. I still fish SC waters tho. Love it up there. Thanks for the support.

Hey John, I'm relocating to Statesboro in about a month. How is the outdoor life in the area?
Kelley McClellan It is great, lots of hunting and fishing around if that’s what you like to do but most of it is private property so if you don’t know people it can be more difficult to find places.
There are two wildlife management areas in Bulloch county, one is on the Ogeechee River and the other is on Lott’s creek on the far south end of the county. There is a public fishing area that has several stocked ponds very close the the WMA on Lott’s creek. Ogeechee river fishing is awesome if you hit it at the right time of year and the right height most of the neighboring counties have WMA’s as well. Great place to live in my opinion.
This kind of fishing makes me hungry, keep bringing them in, I’m thinking seconds.

I live in Hinesville. I have a 14-ft Jon boat with an electric trolling motor. I was wondering if there are any places I can launch it and fish safely with that type of boat. Perhaps in The Riceboro area?
You can launch right out of my back yard I live on lake Gale in midway

I fish all over the place. Tybee included. Drop cut shrimp down around the docks and hold on. Lol

Are you using the Falcon Coastal XG or the Coastal Clearwater Rods?
I actually use both rods but in this video it was the Coastal XG7 foot medium heavy

Hey Galvin, I fish all over SC, GA to be honest. I mainly stick to the barrier islands and the back country where I can sight cast to these reds. I'll cork from time to time for trout but back water reds are the name of my game. I enjoyed your video today. I was just wondering what creek you were fishing in? I know that fishermen do not like giving out specific locations and if you don't want to I understand. I am familiar with Butterbean Beach and Skidway Island and that area around there. I am a novice when it comes to salt water. One thing I learned while we lived in that area is that you need a boat. My son and I usually tries to find places accessible by foot. Anyway, I do have a question though if I may. Due to the force of the water and the cloudiness of the water, does color of a lure really make a difference when catching fish in Ga waters? Does the attractant you placed on the lure really work or is it just the vibration of the lure that actually attracts the fish? Please know again I am just a novice and I am wanting to learn more about fishing in the bays and mainly in the creeks of Ga.
