Poor Heather Locklear has been through some rough times in recent years. A shame, since she has a reputation as being one of the nicest people in Hollywood
Such great memories getting together almost every week with friends to watch Dynasty...it's hard to believe movie stars get old just like the rest of us...lol. Thanks for the trip down memory lane !
It's amazing some actors from movies even came to play in this great TV show that's how powerful it was when you can get Charlton Heston you know it's a good show
I loved watching Dynasty every week back in the 80's. I'm enjoying watching it again daily on UK TV reminding me of what a great show it was. I feel sad looking at this now & then, so many gone now from the cast. It reminds me of the feelings I had after the final episode of '6ft Under'. I cried & cried knowing we all get old & nothing lasts forever be it on TV or in real life.
@@georgemaster9271 I already have the entire Dynasty box set on dvd & it's all still wrapped up in it's original condition for prosperity. Turning it completely on it's head while twisting the same characters names & story lines with a whole new cast. Still keeping the essence of the original Dynasty alive though, very clever. It keeps old & new audiences happy at the same time.

This excellent presentation brought tears to my eyes because all I can see is my mother which passed away six months ago she would have loved this presentation of the follow the people and the music helping us slip into the past and has memories of the good old days I believe the lineup was Dallas Dynasty and Falcon Crest and also she watched The Young and the Restless from day one As the World Turns and The Guiding Light when it was on the radio before TV and anyway I think I will share this with my sister because I'm sure she will shed a tear because like me all she will be able to see is Mom
Chris Mc Evoy John was a lovely man, a true gentleman in a Cary Grant way. He and Linda Evans had great chemistry and remained great friends after the show ended, until his death. This was a wonderful show. The new Dynasty reboot is not in the same class at all.

So Beautiful. So Handsome. Please don't laugh on them because they're old. All of us will grow old too. What matters is what we make of our lives and the gifts we're given like strength, talent, time, youth, beauty. Do we use them to serve others? to spread love? To make people smile through entertainment like all the actors did in this show?
The only I'm shaking my head at is the dodgy plastic surgery some of the female actors have had. As you say we all grow old. Pity it can't be done normally.
@Rosemary Williams / I wouldn’t use the word “funny”, because aging is far from being funny, but you must be very young and.....Those who age GRACEFULLY (meaning without the help of Botox, lasers, knives....) should be APPLAUDED and emulated. Instead of hoping for “that funny thing to happen to you” when you get old, live a healthy life and pray/hope for good mental and physical health.
They did. Charton Heston and Barbara Stanwyck were amazing. I thought The Colbys was a great show and deserved a far longer run. Stephanie Beacham was mesmerising and the dynamic on that show was electric. The shows of the 80’s were fantastic, nothing like them today unfortunately.
Chris Green: Yeah, that was a special time for TV with those powerhouse soaps dominating the ratings. Now on days there are barely any daytime soaps left, let alone nighttime soaps. I even enjoyed Melrose Place, though that came along after Dallas, Dynasty, and the others were done. The reboot of Dallas was ok with the younger cast, but it could have been better. The reboot if Dynasty is somewhat entertaining so far. Interesting how the way they've taken a great deal of license with changing roles, genders and races of the characters.
