not likely, Edmonton is several hundred kilometers to the south west of fort mac murray, and the fire is burning its way to the east, into Saskatchewan. Edmonton also happens to be located in an area with little to no forest area, giving way to plains and farmland the further south you go, and we've also been getting plenty of rain in Edmonton the past few weeks, so the fire doesn't have much to use for fuel heading our way, and what it does have, is often wet.
