Turn your volume to zero, then watch this amazing work of art.
Now I get it when you said to turn the volume to zero.
Holy crap! You weren’t kidding!
I did... otherwise...getting nuts !😡
That truck is a jaw-dropper! I absolutely love it.
I want a COE truck SO badly!
I just became aware of these trucks a couple of years ago, and this era of Chevrolet may just be my favorite.
I love the way that you built so much of it by hand, and made it blend so seamlessly with the original elements.
First class work in every category!
That's way cool, it not another cookie cutter hot rod. It's a work of art. Great job. Thank you for sharing
I've done my share of customs over the past 40 years. I have to say, this old iron is rightly done! Super nice job! I'm kind of partial to 54 chevies any way since a 54 2 door was my first car. This truck is a driver. Some thing you wouldn't be afraid to take cross country. Great video. It's going in my favorites list.
Brad
That's the most beautiful cabover conversion I have seen yet. You set the bar very, very high.
I've never seen a better truck build in all my life and mean that sincerely. Wow! Just WOW! Incredible attention to detail on this and I'm sure it sold for a hefty price. Well done!
OMG!!!! That is outstanding!!!! Thank You for saving a great old truck and turning it into a Masterpiece!!!!
I've been around since 62, two years ago I saw my first COE, where have they been hiding? I used to play in a truck junkyard, trucks of every shape and size. Not one COE! Now I'm obsessed, there's a camper version, that's out of this world. Glad they're being restored.
Great build. Some great craftsmanship involved there. Makes me want to be part of it. I love making surfaces smooth, no matter how much filing/sanding. But the makes me think of guinea pigs being spiked with kebab skewers. Sometimes silence is golden. Well done on a great build otherwise.
Extremely good craftsmanship enjoy
That truck is so "honest" looking!
No pretentions, no games. Just hard working and honest! Somehow the shape of the metal, every curve conveys this heartfelt work ethic.
What a fabulous build. The thought and planning the workmanship.
Thank you for sharing.
I’ve seen a similar conversion at a local car show. It was built on a ram duelly.I absolutely love that body style.
The truck in this video is breathtaking. I would have to daily it if I owned it. No chance I would be away from it for any amount of time. Funny part is, I’m not even a “truck guy”. There is something about that body style that just checks all the boxes. That one is perfect…well it would be perfect for me. Done so well it looks like a high end OEM factory build for a concept retro truck … so nice.
I love that it's not a crew cab. All true pickup trucks are two door regular cab. This is the handsomest I've ever seen bar none. Every detail is just perfectly complementary of the rest. Exactly the correct blend of wow and understatement. A masterpiece.
A BUILD BEYOND MY IMAGINATION FANTASTIC
This is an absolutely amazing piece of workmanship! But the thing I think makes it the best is the choice of power plant/ drivetrain (thanks for giving the Duramax some love) and thanks for sharing this video with us!
Wow what a build ! Well it does have one major flaw. It’s not mine! Congrats, very well done.
I bow at your feet! What an AMAZING build! You are an artist and a genius!
Thoughtful design lots of hours
Nice job. Enjoy
Much respect for the builder’s vision and skills. Outstanding result!
That's a MAJESTIC work of art! It's really a show stopper!
I do not have words to express so many feelings that awaken in me tus GREAT work. However some feelings now awaken with some words like; dream, passion, loyalty, work, effort, virtue, strenght, etc...
Congratulations yo the GREAT TEAM that built a true work of art and thank's by to share!
Big hold from México city, thank's.
How could this have any thumbs down. Awesome build. Simple elegance.
Absolutely TOPS!!!!!! Insane craftsmanship. I want one!!! Kudos
CRAFTSMANSHIP , CRAFTSMANSHIP , CRAFTSMANSHIP WITHOUT DOUBT .
I have never seen a more perfect work of art, Laber ,love and skill rolled into one. Thank for sharing this. You and your crew are truly amazing. 👍🏻
Beautiful looking '54 Chevrolet COE. It's always neat to see the work behind the build. That helps make me & others really appreciate the finished truck on display. Stay safe.
Awesome build. Thank you for sharing your hard work.
What remarkable craftsmanship and thoughtful project development - outstanding work!
Thank you for sharing
The thousands of hours of work that goes into a piece of art like this is amazing. The results are worth it though.
That's a real organic car
Really nice work. I'm pleased as an old timer to see your work.
This is so awesome the bed and side steps are masterful. I would have done the tail lights different though . The way they are mounted makes them look like an after thought . They are a great choice but it would have looked better if the fender contour matched the back side of the tail light instead of it being mounted in a stand off fashion. The colors are great. It is beautiful.
I love COE trucks and this one's a beauty. Well done.
great job !!!, it's BEAUTIFUL, I love how you did the bed and running boards, I have seen so many of the COE's where they cobble the beds to the truck. Most people have NO idea how much work & thought goes into such a build, I do, mine was 3 yrs., just me & a friend, I did mine as a work & play truck. I have seen pic's of it on the net, the 1st. time I have seen this clip, would love to see it in person !!!, thanks for sharing !!!!, Wayne, Tampa, Fl.
ANOTHER incredible build and this one is INCREDIBLY beautiful . Thanks for all the ongoing inspiration !

That is an amazing build. Love the look of those trucks. Just an outstanding job!
My birth year truck. I saw plenty of them working when I was a kid. I thought they were kind of ugly then. However, this restoration shows the true beauty of this COE.
Wow. That is one Bad Ass cabover.
Awesome truck re-build (prime engineering)and video. @ 11:20 love this completion image. This is an award winner! Thumbs up.

I've seen alot of great builds, but this has got to be one of the best, the metal work and paint is excellent, truck is a rolling piece of ART, you guys do amazing work, all top shelf, thanks for sharing this Beautiful Truck.
Had 2 of 3/4 cab overs 1951-1952 years ago they ran great then sold em in the 80s . Steel is heavy on older heavy haulers even my 56chev3600 custom deluxe 1ton single tire was 265v-8 had to weigh Truck in TX for plates weighed 5500lbs I quit driving trk 24yrs ago .
Thank you for sharing this incredible project. I've always been a fan of the COE and thanks for not giving her a sunburnt paint job. SUBSCRIBED, DING.
Probably the neatest truck I’ve ever seen, what a handsome vehicle (trucks are masculine).

Holy smokes what a project! So much fabrication.
It is hard not to be very impressed with every aspect with this build, yet my favorite touch is the tail lights, I presume are from a 54 Chevy
