Gabe, I have watched many of your videos this was breathtaking!! Your ability to stay on plane despite a bit of a quirky swing (no offense) is amazing!!
I played the course in 1999 and shot 106 from the back tees; one par. It's an incredible golf/life experience; however , the course is very expensive now--paid in US dollars about 80 bucks to play in 99'; I also played another great course Tralee --it has one of the hardest par fours in the world.
You're good has really improved over the last year after taking out the mizuno blades .also the swing looks way smoother .can tell the hard work is paying off .
I love the Cashen course. Shorter, but bigger dunes than the Old Course, with more blind shots. I think it's the tougher of the two (at least it is for me). Right now they are renovating it, with Tom Watson offering advice. 4 holes being done each year. Updated holes 4-7 should be ready for play next month (June 2024). I checked them out when I was there two weeks ago and they look great.
@@patrickmorgan4006 Well done. I'm envious of your visit. I've been following the Cashen changes. A friend and I bought overseas life memberships in the early 80s and visited often. We've unfortunately "aged out" - we're in our 80s. 😢😊
@@leefaust8557 I wish I had gotten an overseas membership when I first went there. It's too expensive now to make any sense for me, being in my 60s, and only playing there once or twice per year. I'll just keep going as a visitor. They still treat me very well.
You’ve obviously never played Augusta with that comment “much like Augusta, there is not a single blade of grass out of place” Played BallyB 3weeks and I’ve never been so disappointed with a course with such a high ranking. First 6holes are SO poor, featureless. Mr Doak on his ranking system needs to explain how he gives it a 10..
Great music bed. Spectacular weather. Incredible course. Lucky to be alive in that Paradise! Really is life-changing golf experience.
Another spectacular day out. Looking forward to seeing you back in Ireland soon Gabe!
What a great episode! I don't know if you will see this being an older video, but that's the kind of content we come for! or at least me lol
This course looks challenging for sure!

No way, I was just looking at Tee times of this course! Great to see you playing there.
You’re going to love it
@@LetsPlayThru I am quite sure! Can you recommend any courses around Dublin? Thank you! 😊
Magnificent! Thanks for sharing, Mr. Gabe.
Thanks for watching
WOW! I can only wish. Definitely a bucket list item. Great video!
Thanks man
Looks fantastic and you sure enjoyed your trip over the pond. If I go back to live in the UK I will try to get over to South West Ireland.

Great Video!
Thanks Matt, much appreciated
Wonderful. Could have put in a nice word about the Cashen (Robert Trent Jones, Sr.) which is part of the same Club.

Wow, just wow Gabe! Definitely a trip of a lifetime! Quick question what were you using for your shot tracer?
It's an app called, Shot Tracer on iPhone / Mac
Those long carries would beat me 😅
