Thank you for this video! Also, kies motorsports has a video on how to set the wastegate

Thanks for the appreciation! I figured someone did, I have actually adjusted it twice since making the video due to the 10mil nuts falling off like I said they might, definitely refer to someone a little more professional for an actual setting procedure

What's the reason people use JB4 & MHD? I only use MHD. I don't have this wastegate actuator issue but I learned a lot from your good explanation.

Thanks; I use JB4 almost explicitly for the gauges, I like the “boost gauge” to be on my gas needle, and then I just have my estimated range on my dash, I’m running the JB4 in a backend flash mode just for the gauges; I’m mainly running an OTS MHD STG2+ ACN91 tune, and I make sure not to have any burble since it makes my car run like garbage

I just dropped my E92 off at an Indi shop today for this same issue. It will be interesting to see what they say. Is your 335 all wheel drive? Trying to gauge the space to work. I just might have to tackle this one myself after watching this. Really liked the video. Well done.

I have a RWD car, might be a little trickier on a Xi, it would be the same procedure when thinking about the downpipe installation, not sure if you’d have to drop the subframe, definitely can’t get it through the wheel well too. I’d test the actuation of the arm before going too deep to make sure the arm is pulling closed, seems like a common issue but forums aren’t very helpful in this regard
