Hey Joey! Looking good. Good job trying to get ahead of the rain.
It’s a struggle some days but it’s a good problem to have.
I rushed to finish cultivating everything here with a giant wall of dark clouds looming overhead….. hasn’t rained a drop here, go figure 😂
Got my Hastings laid by but still have peas and watermelons to cultivate. Calling for rain tonight and on in to next week. Maybe the grass won’t take over before I can get back in it. Really enjoying the videos
That’s pretty much what I’m trying to avoid.
Looking good Joey. I plowed mine late yesterday evening and laid the tomatoes by. Like you, it wasn't as dry as I would have liked but It worked out pretty good. I staked and tied the tomatoes in the garden this morning and mulched some here at the house. I found some sweet potatoes and planted them this evening. I just saw the radar and the rain is in Surry County headed east.
I’m on the porch now watching. I was hopping to cultivate the Hastings.
I ordered my Avipel on Monday and arrive today, Thursday. Just in time to plant my sweet corn on memorial day weekend! I can’t believe how responsive the company was in shipping it out the same day I ordered it.
Mine should be here tomorrow.
Looks great buddy
Hey from Texas
Looking good
Thank You . Just seeing the name Texas has got me wanting a bone in ribeye. Lol
Hey Joey, I aways enjoy watching your videos. Dave
Thank You Dave
Looking good. Was a lot dryer than what i expected with all the rain lately. I did mine this evening. It was a lot heavier than I like but they're calling for rain next 4 days so I had to get it while I could.
I know what you mean . I did some more today.
Enjoyed the cultivating. Need to do that to my sweet tators. Would love to watch y’all splitting wood. I enjoy splitting wood myself. Got the fertilizer parts for my 140 several weeks ago from Burch store. Ordered the fertilizer parts for my cub today. Really enjoy talking to Brandon. Maybe you can interview him someday.
I asked and he said I’ll pass. Lol
Great video, love the Farmall gardening videos. I love the red tractors, but, I do have a couple green ones also.
I got some green y’all will see soon. Not a tractor just equipment.
I have my Dads 140”needs complete rebuild/restoration “ and his John Deere Commercial Utility “needs complete rebuild/restoration “ that I drove in 1970 as a 9 yr old kid. Everything thing I own needs work, except the TYM 574.
Had to work today and was trying to get home before the rain. No luck today! Started raining before I could get half way home.
Hopefully it want be to much.
@@Jtwes I got lucky. Even though it rained at one point pretty hard, it didn't saturate the ground enough to stop me. Got another hit at my corn and peas today and boy am I happy at the end of the day!
I enjoyed ❤
Thank You
Thanks for sharing the video Joey. Nice looking job as always. Yes sir you are right about doing while you can as things can happen and you can't get a chance to cultivate again. It's happened to me before. I hope y'all have a great Memorial Day weekend.
We were coming your way but they decided to come this way this weekend.
@@Jtwes gotcha. I had back surgery 2 weeks ago yesterday so I'm not doing much around here but a lot of walking. Doing good no pain and just trying to heal up as good as possible. Maybe we can catch up later in the summer if not before. Y'all take care and have a great weekend.
The chain goes between the idlers and twist to tension.
Thank You sir I knew someone here would know. I’ll get it changed.
Joey I know where there a Super A a mile away from my house that looks like it came off the show room floor. It don't have any implements I would like to have it. A man sold it to my neighbor and he restored the whole thing. It looks brand new.
Joel I hope the Lord will bless you one day with one.
Great video!
Really enjoy your Monday night live stream. Got my first ripe tomatoes this week. My corn has some nice ears. Silks are beginning to turn brown. Wish I had enough ground to plant like you do. Guess I will just live through your videos !! Keep up the great entertainment!!
Thanks Pat. I’m blessed to have a good life long friend that lets me plant on his ground as well as what I have. Enjoy that tomato.
@@Jtwes Thanks for the reply. I have the same life long friend. Love your videos!!!! So glad to hear from people that love the LORD. 🙏
Ur garden looks great. I got my hay put up last night just before a bad storm hit here in Upper East Tn… Timbo L
Thank the Lord I know it’s terrible when hay gets rained on.
Another great video. I’m thinking the Super A is coming in pretty handy at times. Thanks for sharing.
You better believe it. It’s a life saver. I rode the 140 up the road today and I don’t know if I’m just getting used to the hardly any gear noise on the A but the 140 sounds like it’s getting ready to blow a transmission.
I have both drives the single idler and the double. I kinda like the double. I think the double is the older style. Mine was originally blue is why I say that
I was kinda thinking older. I got the fix for your fertilizer foot. When I plant that jimmy red again I’ll show it.
@@Jtwes ok lol
Bust some wood 😂
Looking good how far do you have the rolling baskets apart
Good question. I haven’t ever really measured but I would say 6-10 inches.
Hey Joey. Everythings looking good buddy. How does the super A compare with the 140 as far as cultivating goes?. That might just be a good idea for a video lol. Take care
It will do everything as good. Good ideal.
Am I able to use rolling cultivators on a Cub?
You sure can, Joey helped me with adjusting them.
I run mine on the top bars for more clearance.
Joey makes cultivating look easy, a lot of time on the tractor
I’m glad Ron chipped in I hope that answers your question.
Thanks Ron. I like it better when someone who owns a cub answers.
