It`s the third brake light the seal causing your leak I worked at a Ram Dodge dealership for 20 years and never saw a back glass leak This is something to think about enjoyed your review I own a 21 RAM Classic myself been great to date. Have a great Holiday season!!!!!!!
Just wanted to say I love watching your channel. I came here for the Farmall but really enjoy all the content. Would love to have you as a neighbor, you all seem like just genuine good folks.
I love your channel. Just wanted to say I worked in the stamping plant that is part of the complex where the classic is built. I have retired now but we built a ton of those classics. Very nice review.
Great video! Very informative. I just bought my first pickup last month, a 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie with 65000 miles and have been watching a lot of videos on upgrades, accessories, and common issues. To see your video on a 200,000 mile review and it be overwhelmingly positive is a reassuring sign that this can be good truck if you take care of it. The manual says to change the oil every 10,000 but I’m going to do what you do and change it every 5000. Thanks again
Late watching this Joey, but replace the gasket on n the cab mounted brake light first. Both sons have a 2015 Ram both leaked in rear. Both were leaks around the light.
My 2019 Classic was leaking where the piece of trim comes off the roof and meets with the top corners of the rear window. There was a small gap that was letting water in. Used some sealant to fill in the gap and solved the problem.
Good video Joey! That is still a sharp looking truck. I agree with your oil change interval. Oil is the life blood of an engine. Like you said, take care of it and it'll take care of you! God Bless!
Your next work assignment working for a Ram car / truck dealership, you are honest & very talented knowledgeable, O, yes amazing talent. you share ! Mechanic e mail in Colorado
Wow! You seem to got a good one! I swear we get the Friday afternoon trucks at work. I had a 2016 Ram 1500 just like your truck but 4wd and V6. I rotated that truck out at around 75-80k after 4 years. Oil changes with the lights every time. Needed tires around 40k it had Goodyear Wrangler kevlar tires they gave good service. I believe I had brakes all around cause it needed it I saw the pads they were close to wearing through. It had a tick at idle. It had the grill shutters go bad. It had a bad fuel pump module that the dealer screwred us on cause it was noted under warranty and then failed after the warranty was over. All kinds of electronic Gremlins, where the screen would go black and you couldn't see radio stations or the back up cam. Randomly couldn't use the window motor controls, replaced the battery and trashed the dirty battery cover. I know the serpentine belt was worn out and had to be replaced..it was loud. That's all I remember right now. And admittedly I AM NOT a Mopar fan. I will honestly say I thought it rode and handled well. The seats were comfortable. But from the issues with it I'm glad I didn't own it personally.
@@Jtwes sometimes, but really I treat them about how I do my own stuff. If it was mine I would do 5k oil changes of course and these were done at 7500-8500. But really none of the problems I had were oil related....ok we could say that the ticking at idle if not normal could be from longer oil change intervals.
I have the same truck but Mines a v6 outdoorsman. I bought it cause I needed a pickup it's been a great truck no issues just wish I had the v8 but it still does what I need it to do. I use the same oil and I use the knn oil filter seems to be pretty good
I'll admit I haven't started it yet? But how many camshafts has it ate, Hemi tick, bad lifters, how many transmissions, had the fuel pump module replaced yet, active grill shutters go bad?

Thank You Terry God Bless You.
Cab vents also leak, the seals gets dry. you need to pull the back seat to get to them.
Thank You for that they are out of site and out of mind I have not had any leaks thank goodness until next time just have a AWESOME 2025!!!!
Thanks Terry You too.
Got a 2023 new style that’s intended to be a 20-year truck. We’ll see. That Classic front grill is beautiful, though.
It will . Just keep them serviced.

Yes sir in the stamping plant that’s part of Warren truck. Also known as Warren complex. Again great videos.

Congratulations on your Ram. I’m sure you will enjoy it. Yes 10k is way too long I think.

Certainly will Albert Thank You.

I’ve learned that mostly from watching what happens when you don’t changed it . Lol

Work Truck. You know you drove that truck like a rented mule. Lol

The water under the back seat is coming from the third or cab brake light. Mine did the the same thing and it’s a 2017 model.
Thank You. I will definitely see if I can get that resealed. I didn’t even think about that.
Also the vents in the back of the cab can leak to causing the floor under the seat to be wet, pretty common on older trucks
Good review on a nice truck. All the best from Greensboro NC.
Thanks Gurney
I have had good luck with my Ram, mine is a 2015 also
How many miles you got now.
@Jtwes 129k, mine is the 2500 power wagon with the 6.4Liter Hemi, Same body exactly though. Never had any trouble yet
I have the same truck but Mines a v6 outdoorsman. I bought it cause I needed a pickup it's been a great truck no issues just wish I had the v8 but it still does what I need it to do. I use the same oil and I use the knn oil filter seems to be pretty good
Thanks Eric. I do believe I’ll try those filters
That V6 is tried and true
I got a 06 with 300.000 on it … still going strong
Yes sir.

None
You have had that new truck 2.5 years now😳😳👀
I don’t get it
@@Jtwes I fixed it. "New". I just can't believe how time flies. Doesn't seem that long.
I cant remember, i think the knn is made by the same as Mobil 1. I cant remember all i have read over the years. I forget most of it 😂
👍
No transmission issues, like shifting issues?
Thank you
Have not had any . Did a service on it at 157,413 miles.
@ excellent. Thank you
4 gen ram leak around. Third brake light.
