Got squad yesterday. One of the best games I’ve ever played. It’s like arma, but there’s always gunshots firing.

I was on M1A1 Abrams in the 90s and we would have loved to have this game for simnet. We had a training simulator at ft Knox that cost many millions that wasn’t anywhere near what anyone can play these days. I still love the sound of Bradley’s and BMPs

Drewski, try to use the tow more esp when fighting brits. The warrior can bounce your 30 mm cannon quite easily.

For future reference drew, you can shoot a tow and switch to ap and shoot while guiding a tow

Thats a bmp-2, bmp-1 has a 75mm cannon firing heatfs. Bmp-2m is a bmp-2 with a grenade launcher to take down infantry, light targets, and reactive armour
The bmp2m has a new fcs taken from the bmd 4m it has 4 kornet atgms (it can guide to of them to hit 2 diffrent targets) new engiene and the ags 30 automatic grenade launcher.Its a good upgrade but the armour is still pretty bad .

Drewski, Should I get Squad for Milsim games? Wondering If I should buy it. I have several hundred hours on ARMA 3 but that's the only "Realistic" Game I've played
@Hunter This. Squad is like a streamlined, more casual-friendly take on ARMA, yet doesn’t detract from the realism either. While not as in-depth, you also don’t have to dedicate tens or hundreds of hours to master Squad like you would in ARMA.
Just bought this game currently downloading it cant wait to play!!

It's either Konkurs ATGM or Malyutka ... difference is the size... Malyutka is small on the barrel thing... and Konkurs is on top of turret it's like that stationary thing... Malyutka is fired from inside and manually guided requires skill... Konkurs is semi automatic guided ( in war thunder first is keyboard guide and konkurs is mouse guided )
This is realistic how they are in real life... idk how Malyutka works in Squad tho

The sound that BMP makes while turning the turret is SOO ANNOYING
At least that is some kind of electronical servo motor sound. The rusty metal rubbing sound of some gun carriages are annoying as hell. (BRDM, any technical etc.)

the BMP-2 is my favorite ifv sheerly off of aesthetics and its auto cannon, but im torn about it because aware that it sucks logistically compared to the bradley.
