Remember he tried to say the fuel lines were perished when he took the mighty busa out of hibernation!!!! You could clearly see he had doctored this purely for the sake of a video!! I’ve seen plenty of perished fuel and brake lines in my time but this was on another level! What an arse!!!!
*shows a shot of everything covered in shit, brake fluid, flaking paint* *next shot* del: "pride of ownership" i cannot with this shit anymore, i love it
I think we all know every manual says “only use brake fluid to lubricate seals” And I’m sure for decades when I watched the old man rebuild brake cylinders, a small bit of emery cloth on a rod with a slit in ( to make a mini flap wheel) was used with a lubrication of brake fluid to quickly hone the cyclinder and remove any pitting or corrosion. And this didn’t affect them in the slightest. We also used to neutralise the brake fluid with boiling water so it didn’t strip all the paint off everything!
Happiness seems to be loneliness And loneliness killed my world How could you guess When you're only thinking of yourself How you looked at other girls.
Here we go again. One guy working his ass off. And another one shitting all over it for years and years doing absolutely nothing besides putting brake discs on his roof 😂😂😂 Great content.
Matt, haven't watched your vids for a while as I have been deployed.... its good to be back 👍 Just catching up on all of your vids! 😎 It's also good to see that Del is still a D**khead!
Not washing or cleaning for repair/service is a pet peeve? Shows a certain mentality? Dell, I can remember a while back when you was working on your Goldwing brakes in the winter... bike was a in a complete state and looked ready to scrap.
Wait till you see his Shakedown video , that really is just a money maker.I think the shakedown in the title refers to what he’s doing to his subscribers.
Its been a great week.... Monday.. London Village to see Hoobastank... Friday house up for sale.... Saturday, London again to see the Foo Fighters and Sunday a laugh watching this... It's ended the week perfectly...
It's just like soldering. Absolute piece of piss but tards like Del make a huge deal out of doing it and come up with all sorts of bodges rather than just learning how to do it.
I’m with you on this, it’s basic Hydraulics 1:01. There are proper techniques for moving air out of Hydraulic hoses using fluid to displace the air. Once you’ve learned the best way, it’s not rocket science.
Is that Del’s whiteboard at the beginning of the video? There’s so many mentions of loneliness and betrayal on it lately that it makes me wonder if it actually belongs to Morrissey; the professional miserablist.
Is that containment inside the clutch. From that grease, he used when assembly, maybe? I only use dedicated silicon grease. Or justbrake fluid on internal parts/seal
Did he just dump coolant all over the lift and floor 😂 why wouldn't he put something under it too catch it. It's almost like he didn't realise coolant would come out of the hose
Well PBR made all the brake and clutch components (including the rubber parts) for all Australian produced vehicles for something like 70 years, so maybe not just on my says so 😉 I don't know if MCX have ever supplied OEM parts, but I did fit them to refurb units for over a decade, so I believe I have sufficient relevant experience to recommend them. That aside, using a logical fallacy like that is bit like Del using tin snips to cut plate... a bit retarded and probably not something you should post on the internet.
"using a logical fallacy like that is bit like Del using tin snips to cut plate" - Okay. So I'll make this clear. Do you know what the sea; pressure is on a seal or are you just going to guess? Different seals have different specs like bearings. Hence why OEM seals are the best option. So, now argue against that.
I had the same issue. But there is a part missing, a rubber dust cover. I you watch 04-on part diagram it is there but not on 99-03. My bike is an 03 and it had that rubber dust cover. But I forgot to fit it ones and it started leaking. Road grit gets in there in no time. On the Gen 2 Busa they fitted a steel cover witch is a much better solution.
Del knows full well that he’s being reviewed by Matt, and others, and heavily criticised by all those that are knowledge based mechanics/engineers working in the game all their lives (like myself) but soldiers on regardless, he has too now, it’s his livelihood at stake if he stops making vids for UA-cam. He must absolutely hate it knowing he’s being shown up for his lack of engineering knowledge but the BS he spins is the aggravating factor for all that see it. He’s now trapped in a downward spiral and has no idea how to get out of it, so have some sympathy for poor ol d Delboy. On second thoughts, nah… he needs critics and viewers to keep him going 😅
To be fair, at 42:43, that's probably not filth dropping off it. It's been sprayed with tough black, spent some time in the weather^H^H^H^H^Hworkshop, and has now had a good bath in DOT4...
35:29 that seal isnt replaceable without engine removal and disassembly the same way the output shaft seal is? either way it wasnt leaking do you replace seals that arent leaking just for the hell of it?

@H-M-78 I would agree with you but the bike has only done 90 miles since he changed the original seal 5 years ago, not enough time for it build up dirt and grime at all
@fzr600dave I know the video is just a filler but it is a very sensetive spot on the bike and my bike was about new back in the day when I was cleaning the chain cover (completely unessesary) and forgot to fit that part and loose it. Bought one when I realised my mistake not many miles after. It's interesting to know if the 99-02/03 bikes did come without that part or if Suzuki just forgot it on the parts diagram. Extremely bad design if that's they came without it. D-Man got lucky if he didn't fake it 🤣
I suspect Del drives to his workshop in his car, does the minimum he can for a video to make money then drives home. No evidence of any other bike other than those that go nowhere and detrioate, with help from the bodge meister general.
There looked an offal lot of brake fluid on his paper towel. If the leak was that bad I think it would have drained the master cylinder. By the time Dell had discovered it was leaking. Plus the bike would have had to been on the ramp for a fare while as well. I think Dell just makes up problem to make films.
So according to the quote at the beginning; Del is friend with the whole world, since he never improved anything. Del never changes.. well he does in a way, he gets worse, lazier, cheaper and more repetitive. We all know sub number is a sign of quality of the person making the videos. 🤣🤣 The busa looked Great when he started
A few other people in the comments coming to the same conclusion, I thought it was just me. Need to keep en eye out and see if the camera is always on the tripod or if someone else is holding it. Maybe over the coming weeks to account for any backlog in the videos.
I’ve lost count of how many times he has fixed something he hasn’t used
And then it fails again lol this has done less than 300 miles and it's leaked everywhere.
@@dirtygarageguy tried sneaking a sarky comment in French on his vid but I guess anyone who criticises him gets a life time ban 😂

That thing has done more miles up and down the ramp that it has on the road under his ownership.
I can't believe Del's opening comment "its is boring ..." he might as well say don't bother watching. ! ? !
With all these depressing quotes, I'm starting to think Penny has left him.
No, she's still there, holding the camera. I think he's whinging about people he used to be friends with who are bow slaging him off.

The reason Del's grammar is so terrible is that 3 parra only communicates with hand symbols, for example ✊😮💦

Where's his coolant overflow tank /reservoir line?
