Bob is to Curtis what Newman is to Seinfeld.
That was so good, Don was such a sport! You guys had great chemistry and he seems like a genuinely fun person. Don’t know if he would be up for it but I think he would make a cool guest in one of the “Paul plays” streams :)
Yeah, I agree, Chris. That was a really great conversation. I loved his story about filming the death scene.
You have to love it when the interviewee is excited too and that seems to have been the case with Mr. Berg.
Yeah, he had such great energy, didn't he?
@@ConversationsWithCurtis Wonderful.
I have noticed that when you play Phantasmagoria 2 in cencored mode Bob`s murder scene plays out differently. First you just see the shadows of Bob and the killer and Bob`s hand being impaled to the cubuicle wall.
On the subject of who physically killed Bob; I think that it was Curtis... well, sort of! The thing about that scene is that we see the hand and arm of the killer and they are wearing a black coat and black gloves, therefore it can't have been the Hecatomb. Having said that, I believe that the Hecatomb had possessed Curtis to commit the murder. As we know, the Hecatomb's ultimate goal was to weaken Curtis' mental state to the point where he would be able to take full control of Curtis' body and life. However, I think that the Hecatomb was able to possess Curtis for brief periods of time during the narrative and during one of these times, he used Curtis' body to murder Bob.
EDIT: D'oh! It seems Don postulated the same theory. That'll teach me for posting a comment before watching the entire video.
ALTERNATIVE WILDCARD THEORY: Bob was murdered by Paul Warner. Perhaps Warner felt that Bob was interfering a little too much with his prize guinea pig (Curtis).
Another great interview. Don a was a lot of fun to listen to, tons of charisma.
This was fantastic, one of the best interviews yet. Don was just so fun to hear from and what a character he is. Great job as always Paul!
I agree. I was pleasantly surprised at how great he was. A great addition to the canon.
Such a great and interesting person, and boy he can tell stories! Hilarious!
Don is such a great guy! Amazing background too! I live in the center of Kiev, I'm very surprised that the infamous Bob himself visited my country at some point, and possibly even passed by really close! haha
As always great interview Paul, thank you for doing this!
Thank you, @K.R. Much appreciated. And please stay safe. It's horrifying what's happening to your wonderful country. Hoping for an end soon.
@@ConversationsWithCurtis Oh thank you Paul! Yes it's pretty rough here, but I'm very lucky to be living in a safe district, not far from parliament. Definitely hoping for everything to end soon! ❤
Very fun and witty interview. Enjoyed it alot!🎉
I absolutely loved this and I love that Don wasn’t afraid to name names 😂🤘
That is surprisingly great! That gave once again a new breath on the insides of Ph2 that we obviously all ignored. That barf shot makes sense, I always wondered and now am more disgusted thinking about it. (And sidenote, Donald makes me think a lot of Danny DeVito.)
What a really cool and interesting guy
Loved catching up with Don and getting his backstory. Shout out to the beautiful PNW! I'm also near the shores of the lake and wouldn't trade it for anything.
Oh Man, I could not catch this live. But a great guy Don is, and what a wonderful interview. Thank you so much Paul.
Him mentioning someone thinking of him as a Leather Daddy…. I feel like he was looking right at me when he said that.
Thanks Paul, just literally came across your channel. My life is now better. Phantasmagoria 1 and 2 are literally 2 of my favorite games. For personal reasons.
Everyone loves Don B!!!!!!!
What an asonishing interview!! Guys you are best !!
Super late to the party again but this was so good! Thats my favourite interview for now (I am still catching up).
Excellent conversation indeed, sorry I missed It
Wonderful interview and stories. One of the best ones yet. Such good comradery between both of you. Thanks again for this series!
I'll admit the first thing I did when I saw this was go straight to the end to see if you guys were going to end it with "piss off" and you did! Woohoo! I really enjoyed the interview and as always the behind the scenes pics and his thoughts on the movie clips were fascinating. Very interesting about the real puke!
Fantastic interview!! Now every time I see Bob I'll smell his vomit stained shirt :P
Loved this!
Great interview as always Paul! Love the work!
Many thanks.
Thank you so much for uploading!
Just finished watching this fun interview! Wow Don is such a great all around guy, with so interesting and entertaining stories!! Thank you again!!
BTW I'd die if a chat with you, Victoria, Ken and Roberta Williams could happen, since watching you play Phantasmagoria "one" with Victoria is such a delight!
It inspired me to reinstall a 16 bit layer thingy so I can play on 64 bit "seamlessly" and I did replay P1 in all its original windows 16bit glory and limitations! Complete with the black and white cursor near the end of the game and all LMAO!
Beware, you can miss quite a *big big* chunk of the game if you don't explore all the time! And the end stories of many characters, for *years* I had no idea what their fate was, because I only played the "chase" sequence a certain way! Also, the places that seem unused, like that gazebo place, I always loved going there for the pixel art, yet nothing would happen, until at a point it actually happened! So easy to miss though! So, explore and be on the lookout on where people are/go later on in the game!! I really enjoy your videos from day one and I hope I can finally be able to support you more soon enough. Lots of love from Greece!
Nice interview!
Thank you!
