  • Best chirashi don sushi recipe made with high quality ingredients! You can use any sashimi types you like ontop of sushi rice. The sashimi fish we used here are salmon, aji, egg, and tuna sashimi. You can make any type of chirashi bowl you want. This would also be known as the Bara Chirashi as all the sashimi fish and toppings are scattered on top of the rice bowl. The difference between bara chirashi and chirashi would be the way the dons are served. The sashimi in Chirashi dons are served in thick slices while Bara Chirashi is cubed sashimi.     Recipe Ingredients:
    Please note that all Sashimi Ingredients are purchased from a store that specializes in Japanese Sashimi and are safe to be consumed raw.
    - 3/4 Cup of Japanese Sushi Rice
    - 300g Salmon Sashimi
    - 200g Aji Sashimi
    - 200g Otoro Sashimi
    - 300g Tamago Sashimi
    - 150g Cucumbers
    - 1 Avocado
    - 1 tsp Tobiko
    - 1/8 Cup Japanese Rice Vinegar
    - 1 tsp Sugar
    - 1/4 tsp Salt
    - 1 tsp Mirin
    1. Wash and prepare1 cup of Japanese rice. You can make it in a sauce pan or with a rice cooker.
    2. Slice your sushi grade sashimi ingredients, cucumber and avocado into thick cubes.
    3. When the rice is done cooking, make the sushi rice vinegar while it cools in room temperature. Using a small pan in low heat, add and mix the Japanese Rice Vinegar, sugar, salt and mirin until combined. Pour this all over the rice and gently mix until combined.
    4. Scoop the rice in a bowl, add your cubed ingredients on top and garnish with Tobiko.
