Hello sir, I have a few questions for you..... I am looking to do a timing belt change and I want to clean the lifters. What do you think of the exhaust intake cam swap on the 1.6? Does it do anything? Is it worth it? I have a few engines that came with the car I bought and some I picked up for cheap..... also, I had two escort gt's with the bp05 1.8 and wondering if it's worth the swap? I have one engine that needs to be rebuilt and a few I can pick up for dirt cheap..... is it worth the swap over the 1.6? I love the bp05 and how It performed with only 30k miles for being in a 92 escort gt....

@@famousseamusdude3636 thanks Mike. Btw, just picked up a 1990 blue Miata that I am restoring with my son and have already purchased parts from you. Rebuilding engine over the winter so it would be nice to know all of the things that would be helpful throughout the process and what external parts I need to replace or refurbish. Vehicle has @177,000 miles on it but the engine wasn't original and is a 1991 engine. The only issue so far is broken piston skirts on cylinder 3. Still have to measure block cylinders for spec. Clearances and so on. Thank Mike!
hay mike love watching your videos my q is i just bought a 2007 mazda mx5 with the power retractable top my q is should i keep the top greased where the metal is or the hinges thank u and god bless
Hello Sir James, Yes, a lite oil or wd40 on pivot points and gears would be OK. No heavy grease as that would attract dirt and grime. Enjoy the Miata and top down on moon lit nights to the ice cream store. Miatamecca.
