Wasn't the concept of the Army Staff Leadership School (ASLS - 2007 on-wards) and the training of Instructors from L/Cpl - Lt. Col part of a wider Leadership Development Strategy? Changing the future leaders of tomorrow, at the point where they start to learn how to lead at grass roots level? Or have I missed something here? Or has the wider strategic ASLS concept, as opposed to the tactical effect of training Instructors been missed here?
