I thought I would need your advanced techniques but I didnt even make it to the first skyscraper before my puzzle was solved. Thanks for going slowly and avoiding complicated language.
Nice job with the solve. I like how you explain 2-String Kite as a convergence of row and column containing 2 of a candidate in a block. Solid job with the skyscrapers as well.
thanks for your videos, I also know a little about sudoku strategy, but I can't speak english as well as you because I'm old and I've been in Vietnam all my life, thanks anyway.. I have solved and posted about 400 sudoku games on my youtube channels, some of them were requested by viewers to solve for them.. 😍😍😍
Great job as always. I solved it a using a skyscraper, two different X chains (one with #5 and the other with #3) and a Variable link chain. The #5 chain was the two string kite. The way you solved it was simpler than my way, but I got it solved none the less. Thanks for the solve and please keep the videos coming.
I would appreciate greatly if you would start doing the New York times medium crossword puzzles online. I used to be able to do them but they seem to getting harder
Am I wrong when I suggest that row 9 column 1 should have contained a possible 2? The naked triple in rows 2,3,5 did not resolve this 2. The triple only resolved 3 and 5, right? Having that possible 2 in that cell made it difficult for me to resolve the 2 in row 1 column 2. It was that resolution that allowed you to resolve several cells. Did you just luck out or was there a trick I missed?
Great question. The 2,3,5 are the three candidates restricted in column 9 to the upper 3 cells, so a 2 could no longer be in R9C1. If you put a 2 there, you would have to place 3 and 5 to fill 3 cells in column 9 and that would break the puzzle. Hope that helps.
Please help!!! do you know of an app that I can download to my phone, that will have snyder notation. Many thanks for all your very helpful videos. Or maybe you can tell me what app you are using and is it available for Android? I would like to choose where in the cell my note goes, like you do.
At 15:14 you said the diagonals must be true. But at 16:26 you didn’t fill out the bottom right as a 1. That would have chained a lot of numbers together. Was there a reason not to do that then?
Is there a possibility of accessing a text version of your puzzle so I can follow along and learn some new solving techniques? I can't see the screen--magnification to the nth power isn’t going to help anything, but may be able to follow along auditorially and pick something up if I could access text. For example, a row with the second, fourth, seventh, and ninth cells filled in could be represented as: -2- 9-- 6-8

Subscribing. Your videos, presentation, and explanation are excellent. The best I've found.

Very good, but I would have liked it a little bit. Faster

Turns out in the final that the bottom right was a 5 not a 1. How is that true when the skyscraper logic used said the diagonal must be true?
What platform or app are you using to solve these puzzles?

Hi happybakergirl, you can take a screenshot and print that. Or pause the video and copy it. I hope that helps!

If I did not make a mistake, I have a different configuration (pattern) to yours.
