I'm seeing a lot of people questioning The Lost Album name. This is an artistic name for the complete compilation of outtakes and compositions never released on any official Beatles album. The name has an artistic, poetic, not literal character. No, the Beatles never recorded an album that may be lost. But they recorded hundreds of unofficial songs, previously unpublished compositions , variations, outtakes, jam, improvs etc that, put together, sound like a "lost album" for real fans. It's just that. (This is just 1 of 1274 tracks of 64 CDs of 4 volumes in this series).
So if we click on the Tetrology we get everything that is available including the other links that are on that page as well? Bonus Box 2020 Lost Album Two and a half etc?? Doing Tetrology now it's "preparing zip file" and taking forever - that's correct, right? Each volume contains different tracks. In these 4 volumes you will find all the unofficial beatles material. I have no idea to this day what those boys from Liverpool were singing about. Truth is, I don’t want to know. Some things are better left unsaid. I’d like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can’t expressed in words, and it makes your heart ache because of it. I tell you, those voices soared higher and farther than anybody in a grey place dares to dream. It was as if some beautiful bird had flapped into our drab little cage and made these walls dissolve away, and for the briefest of moments, every last man in Shawshank felt free.
That’s extraordinarily beautiful, and as near to describing the indescribable magic of The Beatles as I’m likely to ever see. Thanks for the chill, brother.
Nope, it was during Get Back sessions, whereas 'Can You Take Me Back' take 1 from Cry Baby Cry was from the earlier," The Beatles"( The White album 1968)
Es increíble, cuando se separaron tenían material para dos o tres álbumes de primera!... en diez años! creatividad pura.... y siguen inspirando cincuenta años después... toda mi vida con ellos desde que nací
@@GrantTarredus This may not be technically perfect, but should explain it. In standard western music there are 12 notes within an octave. A scale contains a selection of those notes, usually with them separated by a tone or a semitone. In an ascending major scale, the separations are tone-tone-semitone-tone-tone-tone-semitone. With a minor scale, the separations are tone-semitone-tone-tone-semitone-tone-tone. If one looks at the key with all the white notes on a piano, the (C) major scale uses CDEFGABC and the minor one (A minor) uses ABCDEFGA. However, there are five other scales (or modes), starting with notes other than C and A. These are used less commonly and at least one very rarely. The mixolydian would be the one starting on G in this case, using GABCDEFG notes. The semitones appear in different places, the chords may need to be different, and the whole feel can be very different.
@@GrantTarredus Basically, it’s in a major key, and the only difference between this mode and a regular old major scale is that the seventh note of the scale is flattened by one semi-tone. It tends to give things a bluesy sound and is very common in rock.

I'd wager that there are some musical gold hidden in these tapes that could be mined. I'd bet if they were extended and fleshed out some of these bits would be prime Beatles. It would be interesting what the children of the Beatles could do with them.
1. Beatles Kids aside from the Lennons, Zak and Dhani aren't natural musicians. Talented, but not interested. 2. A number of the melody lines and motifs (from here) appear on some solo albums. 3. As a musician, does no one think that there would be apocryphal fragment pages of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, the original creators of Gregorian chants, if paper was not burned for heating? Not every line is a song; it's part of the creative process, a thinking out loud. It's similar to daVinci's sketchbooks.
@@meeeka Zach Starkey isn't a natural musician? He drummed for Oasis and probably has been with the Who for over 20 years. I agree he doesn't seem interested in a Beatles Kids gig but he's a phenomenal drummer.
I must,be living under a rock! I'm a fan since day 1, wore out every album; the white album twice, but i have never heard this!!! Where did it come from & is it available??

Doing Tetrology now it's "preparing zip file" and taking forever - that's correct, right? I wonder if this set has within it the great 13 CDs worth of the Italian batch called Beatles Artifacts I, II, & III which I planned to post someday.
@@cuda426hemi The description link: drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1QDCtv1F5RtHCAPju8J8EmtA_2XR7PZBA
contains 8 torrent files = 4 for the Flac option and 4 for the mp3 option. Just decide which is your preferred audio format and download only those 4 torrent files of your choice. Each torrent is used to download each volume of TLA tetralogy. Each volume contains different tracks. In these 4 volumes you will find all the unofficial beatles material. (Yes, everything in the Artifacts is contained in the TLA series, remembering that the TLA does not contain material from any beatle’s solo career).
The other 2 links in the video description are alternative options for those who do not want to use the torrent system. But I only found links on the net for Vol. 1 and Vol 4. If you downloaded the 4 volumes via torrents, ignore these 2 links in the description.
@@desistindo1 sorry to be annoying but I'm not very good with technical things! - is there a single link that will take me to every single track or volume of the lost album where I can just download them all?
Raw Beatles! There is nothing better!
Some of these are soooo good .... I wanna add them to my Spotify but none of these songs were properly done so this is all we have....
I love the samples and recording sessions of Beatles, Wings etc. So fun to listen to new versions and "new" bits and pieces.
Treasures!
Usually I don't say this about Beatles' rarity compilations. Nice sequencing!

@@GrantTarredus Exactly. We are on the same page, Stuart Gardner.
@@gardenmom6180 Thank you, Gardenmom61, from “Gardnerdad60” with love to you and yours, and to everyone everywhere, always. It really is all we need.
Donovan is with Paul on "Heather", occasionally singing, and playing a bit too.,,
I really enjoyed this as I have never heard these except “isn’t it a pity” by George. Thanks for sharing this
Paul's 'Heather' sounds like it led to his refrain 'Can You Take Me Back'.
Nope, it was during Get Back sessions, whereas 'Can You Take Me Back' take 1 from Cry Baby Cry was from the earlier," The Beatles"( The White album 1968)
Case of the blues is wonderful!
The beatles were and forever will be most influential band of my life time thanks to the ed sullivan show i
Amazing to hear this.....thank you!
Really good!
Beautiful. Thank you for this.
BEATLES,quite honestly,Changed.......
Everything !
Oh my, what gold. TO think they can keep on giving... Heather is mother natures child!
I Look Out The Window...so touched, and cried
'Castle of the King of the Birds' is mixolydian mode. Paul maybe knew this or not but the song could of been stunning.
I’m unfamiliar with this term so I’m about to look it up, but perhaps you could expand on this at your convenience? Thanks!
@@HiltonBenchley Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed explanation for me! I really appreciate it!
@@fromchomleystreet I see! Thank you very much!
Great, great, great!!!! Amazing thanks for this gift!!!
I recognize the piano piece from the intro in the movie Let It Be.....haunting and beautiful
A Case Of The Blues is incredible
This is great, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to it! Thanks for posting it. It’s like sitting in the studio with them while they work on the music. Listening with good headphones makes it even better. Like you’re right there in the middle of it with them.

I looked out the window and see.... that sounds beautiful
Stunning!

@@meeeka James McCartney is also natural musician
@@meeeka Zach Starkey isn't a natural musician? He drummed for Oasis and probably has been with the Who for over 20 years. I agree he doesn't seem interested in a Beatles Kids gig but he's a phenomenal drummer.
I must,be living under a rock! I'm a fan since day 1, wore out every album; the white album twice, but i have never heard this!!! Where did it come from & is it available??
Very nice compilation
There You Go Eddie / There You Are Eddie is also a beautiful jam they did, it's just Paul and John singing about their and Ringo's pets.
Its great sound moving into the seventies seems though ahead of itself. great.
