I've been a Kpop stan for more than 10 years but this is the first time I've seen a 35-minute-performance of one idol group in an award show lol. BTS is truly a legend
i was honestly surprised to see the time totality cause i thought they were only given 22min. which is the standard. lol, bts outdid themselves in this awards show. also, MAMA is coming. oh gosh.
Them remixing Dionysus (2019) with N.O (2013) was such a genius move,, N.O is abt breaking from the chains that society puts on you, while Dionysus is the liberator from oppressive restraints. Both are so empowering!! N.O's lyrics being abt society & adults that wants you to be a studying machine. How some parents want you to be something they want you to be so you give up on your own dreams. Dionysus was after you get away from those chains of society & finally find your own dream. They feel free as artists making their own art/music & doing what they actually want.

This is what grammys scared of that BTS will turn their stage into concert not an award show. And all the awards they will get all no left to other artists just like here in MMA they all get the best awards.. Coz they are the true kings of stages modern kings of music

BTS is the group that even if they have debuted years ago, they will still perform like a rookie group where they have to make their performance above 100%

You should watch explanation for their fictional storyline they present through their music. The storyline is so in depth, includes emotion, time travel and all than. They truly deserve an Oscar for it

The choreographer for Dionysus was Sienna Lalau out of LA (originally from Hawaii). She also did ON and co-choreographed Run BTS. She was 19 when she did ON, so 18 or 19 when she did Dionysus.

My son has watched so many BTS videos on my account that youtube often recommends me their videos, and I don't complain one bit - especially not when the performances are this good!

They are such inspirations. I'm 16 and they helped me fight though a very tough time of my life. I'm still fighting but I can say that it is much better than it was before I started being their fan
The performances are great but it's the lyrics in their songs that make it that much more meaningful. I hope your son gets a chance to dive deeper into their music and be able to thrive through his youth with the positive messages that BTS's passes through with their music :)
I think it's because stages and props could be much more expensive in usa? Like probably just a small stage could have the same pricing as this whole dionysus stage. And can you imagine if they truly invested in stages just for their screen time to be divided 70:30 between them and the audience, trashy camera work and probably their performance will be cut short... I'd say it's just not worth it to invest.

I’ve never cried this hard. I screamed when Intro:Persona came out, I felt nostalgic with boy in luv and boy with luv. Then i cried with Mikrokosmos. Then i was mesmerized by the medley and each individual stage. Then the horses came and dionysus and the dance break. I was so overwhelmed I cried. BTS really outdid themselves and proved they deserve to be at the top right now. I’m in this bangtan sonyeondan shit for life.
This performance was literally a big pie in the face to all the western award shows that refuse to acknowledge BTS as artists rather than a gimmick they can use for popularity. So unbelievably proud of the boys... they all did so well and jimin took my breath away with his part!

Joon is born to be a rapper and performer for sure, Yoongi told in an interview that how people were afraid of Joon Because of his rapping skill, he was already famous before their debut, yoongi basically challenged himself to compete with joon before coming to Seoul. There is also a solo live performance of him, which is really dope, i think he performed his song Do you in that live stage, i was amazed to watch that performance. This men is literally hiding his talent from us for sure.

I also commented wrong things about them here and there . Then I decided to watch Black Swan MV in 2020 during lockdown period . After watching the mv and reading the subtitles of the song, I literally questioned myself, "Why was I hating these guys ? They are gorgeous and talented and this song has such a deep meaning and aesthetic too ." After watching their live performances, their funny edits and Bangtan TV episodes, I realised that I had fallen into the rabbit hole of purple world and I promised to never go back . They also seem to think this is a fad and don’t see them as artists. All of which is shameful. The choreographer for Dionysus was Sienna Lalau out of LA (originally from Hawaii). She also did ON and co-choreographed Run BTS. She was 19 when she did ON, so 18 or 19 when she did Dionysus.

I think it's because stages and props could be much more expensive in usa? Like probably just a small stage could have the same pricing as this whole dionysus stage. And can you imagine if they truly invested in stages just for their screen time to be divided 70:30 between them and the audience, trashy camera work and probably their performance will be cut short... I'd say it's just not worth it to invest.

I’ve never cried this hard. I screamed when Intro:Persona came out, I felt nostalgic with boy in luv and boy with luv. Then i cried with Mikrokosmos. Then i was mesmerized by the medley and each individual stage. Then the horses came and dionysus and the dance break. I was so overwhelmed I cried. BTS really outdid themselves and proved they deserve to be at the top right now. I’m in this bangtan sonyeondan shit for life.

Joon is born to be a rapper and performer for sure, Yoongi told in an interview that how people were afraid of Joon Because of his rapping skill, he was already famous before their debut, yoongi basically challenged himself to compete with joon before coming to Seoul. There is also a solo live performance of him, which is really dope, i think he performed his song Do you in that live stage, i was amazed to watch that performance. This men is literally hiding his talent from us for sure.

Then I decided to watch Black Swan MV in 2020 during lockdown period . After watching the mv and reading the subtitles of the song, I literally questioned myself, "Why was I hating these guys ? They are gorgeous and talented and this song has such a deep meaning and aesthetic too ." After watching their live performances, their funny edits and Bangtan TV episodes, I realised that I had fallen into the rabbit hole of purple world and I promised to never go back .
