OMG, I remember that it was one of my favourite BTS's songs when I was twelve. Now I really feel excited, because when I listen to ON I feel something in my heart, a lot of emotions.... I miss being a girl who was all the day listening to your songs without pause. I really started listening to your songs all the rest of the day when I arrived from school. I had many dreams about being an idol, an actress, a dancer... but my expectations with all of this (even the seven gods) started decreasing. At the same time, I started growing up, and I started practising taekwondo. There, I had the first group of friends that would be an important event in my life. I met love, parties, drinking, dancing on tables, I fit into a group full of disrespectful behaviours, immature people, and false friendship. But I was happy, not because I was losing myself to attract people (I changed many things because people liked me and it was like a drug, I needed to be always better, like an object, like a fantasy). Everything because people wanted me in a group. I started to delete all the things I learnt with you. "Love youself" (I really thought I loved myself but it was a lie, I only liked myself because people liked me, so I started to be another person, not Desirée.) Then I started to work in a factory, and after that in a supermarket for 6 months. Now I'll work as an administrative, but I want to have my own company, my clothing brand. I won't lose myself anymore. Maybe I'll study in Milan for some years, I'm doing projects. But that's not enough. I feel empty. I need to swim in your songs while I'm making my way. I want to be there with you like I was one day. I want to fulfil the promise my childhood self made to you a time ago, even though the little girl is now an almost 19-year-old woman with worries and limited time. I want to be your umbrella.
