This is such a comfort song, my second one. The first one being what kind of future. I just wanna say, the brilliance of using "it just so happens that it's our first time living today" just hits me with all kinds of feeling. Like they're saying that it's okay to do mistakes cuz it's everybody first time experiencing today. It's just so in the face that I feel stupid not realizing it before.
And the way the last part of the lyrics said the same thing but for tomorrow just kinda gave me some kind of relief that it's okay, there's also hope that everything will be okay tomorrow too, just like any other day. It's so very much comforting me whenever I'm having a hard day.

I've been having a hard time lately and at the end of every rough day I come back to this song. This is what homes feels like to me. It feels like the elation one feels when they know they're going home to a house full of love. This feels like the tight hug your mother gives you when you are uncertain. This feels like the strong frame of your father you can lean on. This feels like your best friend you've spent your entire life with, building memories. This feels like your first time living all over again no matter how many lifetimes you've experienced. That is how precious this song is to me.
