This is a sick song. They are untouchable. This is what they do.
It's stank face to the Max😂!
Led zeppelin never showed off they let the music play for itself that's what led zeppelin does and that's why they are the biggest and the greatest of all time thank you for listening
James Patrick Page + Robert Antony Plant + John Richard Baldwin + John Henry Bonham, the juggernaut of Valhalla, best band EVER 😀.
Greetings from Danmark 🤜 🇩🇰 🤛
Jesus Christ that was live !!! That drummer is INSANE!!!! The guitarist is living GOD!!!! Base is on point and heavy!! Singer brings it all together! Greatest band in history! Love Beatles but this music is just as inspired and way more powerful.
4 greatest musicians ever!
Great description .... "....like a train bursting through."
The song is called Bring it on home! ❤ Jimmy and the boys would do this call and respond a lot. It's called "Jamming"! Robert is moving to the music too
Those boys just bring it
What can i say led zeppelin is the greatest band ever
The best of the best led zeppelin
The guitar Jimmy was playing here 'Black Beauty" was stolen shortly after this. It was found in a Minnesota guitar shop and returned to him in the last year.
wow, i was very close to black beauty…
50 years later that guitar still exists..wow
Saw them play this song several times in concert and they always played it a little different each time✌️🤩
The Led Zeppelin! They are Ludwig Van Beethovan come back with a totally new sound! Far Out, man....
Its just stupid how great this is. Ridiculous. My God.
👍😜😜😜😜😜
Got the chills with the harmonica. Sooooo fkn talented.
Yeaha! wonderfull!
I love the call and response! It’s Blusy FIRE!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Props to YOU for playing the best live version of Bring it on Home ANYWHERE. JIMMY’s birthday! Brilliant. Way to pick ‘em sir! 👍🏼✌🏽❤️Semper Fi

Thank you Pope for some great Saturday afternoon refreshment......ahh!
Omg legendary 💕💕
Hello. I saw all your Led Zeppelin,s reaction. I love the way you do it, because you enjoy a lot them, and don't speak when they are playing. Is good...Don,t stop every time the music, or the video. I like this
Phenomenal riff phenomenal performance
A powerfull band playing a powerfull song
This is GOLD
Definitely the best rythem section ever. The ESP these fellas had. Legendary.
Always enjoy your reaction to Zeppelin you are a wise young man!!! Robert with the harmonica is always a special treat!!
INSANE 🎸🎸🤘🏻🤘🏻
The history of Rock ain’t nothing but the Blues.
You are absolutely correct, it only exists because of the Blues of the Mississippi Blues Masters. So, are you saying that they shouldn’t have been influenced and played “copied” the legendary Blues Masters? I agree that they should have shared some/more Royalties with those who inspired them, no argument here. It is difficult for us laypeople to understand the actions that took place, so I won’t comment.
But I am curious about is this, if LZ, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones and others had not ever shown their respect to their Blues heroes by traveling to Memphis and Southward into the Mississippi Delta to display their homage and respect to this legendary artists, would Blues music today be a forgotten art form? I think that everyone should be happy and grateful for how these Brit artists did go and make their pilgrimage to meet the Blues Masters. Of course they absolutely should have given compensation for how they shared their music and knowledge with those who soon thereafter made financial gains from their new found knowledge. But what I am putting forward is this question, “if none of these artists had ever been inspired enough to go through the effort of traveling into Mississippi to meet and learn the “REAL” Blues Masters, where would this genre of music be today? I understand the outrage about how the sharing of financial gains was not equally distributed, but my probe is about what would Blues based music look like today if those Brits had not come to the Delta? I think the music had the chance of being made obsolete
Plant was such a great harp player! Whish he had done more. Great reaction Pope 👌
Man you are so RIGHT, I've been saying that for years ...I'm not joking ,he ranks right up there with Neil Young and Dylan. Why he gave it up is beyond me. maybe cause they moved away from the blues as they went on ? Not a lot of real blues after Since I've been loving You ,off three. Peace and Love
Hey, he’s still alive.
Pope,
Good comments Man! That’s the essence of Zeppelin live. A runaway train. Incredible transitions done with precision and power. People who criticize Page live just don’t get it.
An Underated Zeppelin Classic!
Royal Albert Hall, 1970, is a milestone in LZs career, and complete fire throughout.
Wow. That was a jam.
Rock n Roll Zeppelin style! Love to watch them live! All masters at their craft!
Zeppelin could Jam!
they jam, thats what they do lol. best band ever
They always make me smile, every single time!!
Oh, yes!!! You’re bringing back the days of my youth!! Thanks, Pope… another sweet reaction…
💙💙😎😎☮️✌️
They had their first rehearsal together in August 1968 and this is filmed in January 1970 (on Jimmy's 26th birthday, no less) so that means, at this point, they had only been performing together for about a year and a half! They were THIS GOOD from the very beginning! Outstanding!!
Hi Henrietta was that the sweater Jimmy’s mom made him??
@@Kashmir.820 I don't know if she made it for him or just gifted it to him, but, yes, that sweater came from his mom.
@@henriettaskolnick4445 yah I don’t know either I always remember people saying Mama Page made it…if she did she had mad talent too!!!!
so great! Thanx!
There, on this day (January 9, 1970: Jimmy’s birthday), we have a 26 year-old Jimmy Page , a 24 year-old John Paul Jones, and both John Bonham and Robert Plant as 21 year-olds, which both of them would turn 22 later that year. Just FYI.
This whole gig is amazing, much better than MSG ‘73 imo.
Check out “We’re Gonna Groove” or “I Can’t Quit You Baby” from this gig both are amazing.
Super agreed, the sound alone is just the best ever !
There's nothing like a little LED ZEPPELIN to lubricate ye ole eardrums.
Fabulous! Whole concert is amazing!
And so the history of rock is written, more than 50 years later it still sounds surprising and fresh, in my next life I would love to be a member of this group.
Jimmy Page and Robert Plant say over and over their major influences were the black blues entertainers from Mississippi. America did not notice these guys from MS but many British bands did. And all of us in Mississippi black and white cherish them. Morgan Freeman who is from here and still lives here part time has a restaurant and blues bar here. Love me some Mississippi!!!!!
Hey Pope! How are you doing my friend? Dinner time and time to get The Led out! This is an awesome jam!!🔈🔉🔊🔊
They were famous for extending songs. If you listen to other live performances, Anything with Dazed and confused or an extended Whole Lotta Love, you are going to enjoy a wonderful deep dive into some insanely good blues numbers. And tons of improv.
Led Zeppelin - THE HAMMER OF THE GODS. 😀😁😋😊☺️😛😜👍✌❤❤🍺🍹🍸🍷🍾🥃🥂🍻🛸🌲🌲🌲FINE PINE MARIJUANA. PEACE .👽👽👽🛸✌🚬🖖🖖
The studio version makes him sound like an old black dude. That's where they got their inspiration from. This song is sick. This music moves your emotions. Love them
This cat gets it. Nice reaction
Thank You🫶🏻 PÔPE for the Saturday jam🤟🏻with the ZEP❤️🔥
Your reaction is perfect. No interruptions. You took it all in, enjoyed it and your feedback was insightful. 👍🏼👍🏼
This will be a comment BEFORE Ive even seen your reaction..as a subscriber, this popped up on my phone whilst I was in the pub..I thought, blimey, when I bring it on home ,I must listen to this! (pun intended)..you don't just follow a 'trend' on this channel bud, you seek out the quality..nice one..I'll comment again once I've seen/heard this brilliant tune again
Another great tune and great reaction. 👍🏼
Ahhh.... The harmonica!
Simply the four greatest musicians ever Assembled in one band. The only musicians classified as gods. Simply the greatest end of story.
Nice,you da man!Thanks!
Always been one of my favorite live performances by them ;)
Me too
Bonham & JPJ. So good and I was there! 17.5 yrs old lower circle 5 rows back. Pages guitar never sounded as good
Great performance!!
if only the greatest rock vocalist could also play the sweetest hardcore blues harmonica with an unmatched drummer and unrivaled bassist/key and everything else with a guitarist...yeah that guitar...with an unheard of stage presence...that had an unlimited catalog of diverse hits...that would be something...oh wait Led Zeppelin
You got it right!
“How many more times” from the same concert.
Sooo happy I got to see them live, 3 times. Thanks Pope!! Aloha ya'll.
👍❤🤙
How can you play this TIGHT ...LIVE ? GEEEEZ
I think Jimmy's mother made him that sweater for his birthday.
🔥🔥🔥
This whole concert was badass
These might be the covers but they made it their own andbonzo, you could tell he was a carpenter beating that kit like that and Page what can you say Jones holds it together solid baseline and plant his voice, like everyone says an instrument on its own, plus that harmonica playing is superb!
When we were teenagers, we’d get so upset when they’d change the song in the live concerts, lol. It took a while to appreciate the impromptu riffs.
Hi Pope! Great video! This is one of their songs it's not just a jam.
that guitar jimmies playing got nicked after that gig!! he only got it back a few years ago
Wow, on his 26th bday too apparently.
correct, and the sweater hes wearing was knitted by his mum for his birthday haha, how rock and roll is that!
@@BLU3SP00NZ
For freestyling, see 'How Many More Times," same concert.
Yes, genius, where can we see that today?
It’s weird how close you could be to the stage back then.
OK..comment after I've seen this..great musicians play off each other..look how closely they stand together, watching each others musical clues..I dont think JPJ took his eyes of Bonham the whole time whilst Jimmy did his stuff up front with Robert's harmonica on his coat-tails..proper musicians, and yes bud, at this (relatively) early stage in their careers there was a lot of 'free-form'..Some of the original film had degredated so badly that a few stills were skilfully put in but it doesn't denigrate from the performance..I have to say , yet again. from this viewer/listener, thx P
We landed on the moon just one short year earlier than this show. But this band took us to different worlds beyond our own celestial satellite. The universal language is math, with music merely a tonal extension. If we want to meet hip aliens, maybe Elon will send out a disc of the Zeppelin library. I think they'll like it. Very much.
GOATS😎
Nice video!
Jack White really took his whole flow from this concert lol
Yes it’s a song, check out the studio version, it rocks
Most of their work was created from jam sessions. Jimmy Page said that he never considered a song complete.
OK now you gotta check out Sonny Boy Williamson's original: ua-cam.com/video/nHpqQaf0EK8/v-deo.html
Plant can play my harmonica anytime!!
gods
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤👍🤙
"Reverend!!"
🍄🌲🍄💥🌈💥🌈!!!!
Robert Plant should be on the mount Rushmore if Rock legends! If not... that would be bad taste ! Yall know what I m saying!
It's Jimmy Page's birthday and his mommy bought him a sweater vest. 🤗
I am so glad Jimmy got his black beauty’ back! What a nightmare for an elitist to lose his favorite trusted ‘friend’ guitar! Some people r so cruel!! Greedy and jealous!!
A Led seminar by the the Pope
This is so annoying, I had to wait 30-40 years before seeing/hearing this stuff live without breaking Federal Laws. And these kids have their first introduction with the live stuff. Which is the circle of life actually. Zeppelin became big because the first generation to hear them heard them live and spread the news. I was stuck in the middle, very little live, but Bohnam was gone so no chance to actually see them. 40 years of listening to studio recordings sustained me, but how I wish my first impressions were born from live performances.
I'm sad for your loss. First heard Zep when I was 13. Grew up on their first take on music! An amazing experience that stays with me now 50 years later! Thank you very much. Good night!
Do you want to see a killer drum solo and you like the Royal Albert Hall check out Moby Dick
Beat live show with lots of tight jamming ( freestyling ) in your terminology!
This is when Plant’s voice was still intact.
I saw them in ‘71 and he was still great by the time of The Song Remains The Same gig in ‘73 his voice seemed to have declined.
Don’t know what happened.
He sang through colds and flu and developed nodes on his vocal cords in late 1972. By the time of the 1973 tour his voice was giving him problems. He had a, secret throat operation after the 1973 tour and his voice was never the same again.

Thanks for the info.
I thought something must have happened.
When they where tight, and page before herion
You should react to Bryson Gray.
Check out the drum kit on Bonzo....no offence towards Rush and The Who but come on man ,really ,do you really need that many drums to sound good ? I guess not ...LOL :) Peace & Love
jazzBlues?
Aren’t you supposed to talk throughout and give a few opinions? Good opinions at the end, but if I wanted to listen to that song I’d just listen to the song without a face in the corner. Don’t we click to get others opinions?
good question, hope you find the answer soon.
