Plant's vocal style at the beginning and end was a homage to Sonny Boy Williamson. You should check out his original version too. They Zeppelin'd it up in the middle.
Extraordinary likeness to Sonny Boy ...captures the cadence and attitude of the great man perfectly. Would have liked to hear Robert doing Help Me, Nine below Zero or even Little Village.
Love the way they start off soft an bluesy then drop in hard with slamming music an vocals! The diversity of sounds this band had is stunning. Long live Zepplin! PEACE!!!!!
I think they are the MOST diverse band of all time. You guys should check out over the hills and far away!! You’ll love it! Thx for having these awesome videos!!!
Best Rock and Roll band ever period. Learned it from the southen blues, sped it up and brought some deep base and what can I say about John the drummer who absolutely owns those sticks on the drums.
That is Robert Plant on harmonica!!! When he was 16-17 years old he went and saw Sonny Boy Williamson in concert. He was in the restroom and Sonny was in there as well. Robert said something to him and as he was leaving Robert swiped Sonny Boy's harmonica. He recently in the last 10 years took the harmonica and placed it on Sonny Boys grave.
Ive got three words for you... Achilles Last Stand. Arguably in the top 5 greatest Led Zeppelin songs of all time, deep cut gem. Notable mentions. 10 Years Gone Down By the Seaside Kashmir Night Flight And the live versions of Whole Lotta Love and No Quater off of The Song Remains the Same at MSG 1973. Subscribed.... rock-it-T!!
The brillant part is the song transitions so smoothly from Bluesy-blue straight into hard driving rock, not so easy to do.One of my all-time favorite Zep songs.
This song draws you in close. . . It soothes you with quiet whispers. . It runs it's fingers slowly through your hair. . . It nibbles you on your neck. . Then it *SMASHES YOU IN THE MOUTH!* . . AND you LOVE IT!! Then at the end it goes quiet . . . . and strokes your head . . . .and kisses all your bruises better . . .
Great reaction and great song! This is my personal favorite Led Zeppelin song! Your interactions are so fun to witness! Keep up the good work! Peace!!☮
I love reaction vids to songs of my lifetime. I've loved, absolutely loved, Bring it on Home for more than 45 years. Can't play it loud enough, I blast songs like this from my old truck to show the kids that this grey haired old grandpa still rocks. Hope y'all are safe, keep the videos coming. Thanks from Colorado.
Hey T, glad you and your wife got to hear this Zeppelin song. VERY underrated tune. Another aspect I love about Zeppelin is in many of their songs, they do a subtle fade, only to hit you with a BANG! Like with this song, Robert's harmonica fades away, but it leaves enough of a subtle drag that it makes you feel like something big is coming...then BOOM! But not just a bunch of loud noise, as Zeppelin leaves MANY memorable rifts in its songs.
I would definitely steal this bass line if I was a rapper. Love to see people step outside their culture. This song is like the slow ride to the top of the Shock Wave and going through the two loops.
Now that is how you “bring it on home” to end Led Zeppelin II!! One of my favorite under appreciated Zeppelin songs. This is an old blues tune of the same name by Sonny Boy Williamson I believe. Of course Zeppelin flipped it on its head.
loved this band from the very first time i heard it on WIRF radio. really dig playing my drums to this cool old tune over and over gain and again . yelp, drives all my neighbors crazy hearing me drum to it volume cranked up to 80% for a few none stop fun hours..... lol!
Thank you so much! I love this Zep tune. Makes me smile! It is always requested but no one ever reacts to it. You guys definitely get extra points for this one! Thank you peace ✌️
I was obsessed with this song as a teenager, along with Achilles Last Stand. I particularly loved the guitar tones and the bass. Not so much the intro though, but once it kicks into hard rock mode.
I always loved this one, but never knew about Sonny Boy Williamson. It's great reading these comments when people start adding in the contextual info! Now I will appreciate the artistry of the song even more.
This song is off the chains!!! Starts in first gear and before you know it you are going 120 mph!!! It’s rare when all 4 musicians are cream of the cream !!!
I was lucky to see Zepp 3 times live! and Page and Plant Concert too! It is nice to see the youth discover Led They were the best! If you want to hear anither Epic Please listen to Achilles Last Stand from the presence album! As we use to say Peace love and Zeppelin
this record shows the birth of heavy rock, english bands took the blues repackaged it and sent heavy rock back across the atlantic. page was the greatest heavy rock guitarist of that era the zeppelin catalogue has never aged and i see the amazement on peoples faces like yourselves when first hearing them, great reaction videos
Err , Heavy Metal actually. Nobody was equal to sounding this good. You can't tell me Dazed & Confused wasn't the heaviest song out in the music world in 1969
Robert Serafin no, not heavy metal heavy rock, zeppelin were not a heavy metal band, if you’re lumping them in with judas priest and motorhead i suggest you go and have a good listen to them before you comment
I am 67, saw Zep in 1975 live baby and people ask me what do you remember about the concert...and I ways say that I never saw hair like that (Robert Plant) on a man. He really looked like a lion up there ! Bring it on home is my favorite Zep song and always will be !
Good god good Lord led zeppelin they are truly untouchable best band ever haters its time to admit that led zeppelin are the master's of rock and roll led zeppelin 1111111
React to this whole album: Led Zeppelin 2, the story of meeting, banging, falling, getting too deep, breaking, and bringing it on home...trust me on this, the whole album is fire
Great track, the live version from the Albert hall is amazing, try the live versions of No Quarter and The song remains the same/the rain song from Madison Square Garden, you won't be disappointed...
The problem with this song is that it ends.
I'm agree with you! ❤️💪💪💪
It's a tragedy, too!
LOL !!!!
Yeah it isn't it the last song on the album? I know it's the last song on that side. I remember because the record would end and I would be bumbed LOL
Lol
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.
Over stater of the obvious...LOL
That's whats missing from rock music today; that blues influence. Zeppelin took full advantage and made into timeless music.
DAMN SKIPPY!!
Give it up for Plants harmonica playing! He never gets props for it and he’s damn good!
Yes! Great harp player
Agree, it's awesome.
Same with Mick Jagger
You must react to "Nobody's Fault but Mine." Robert Plant has a killer harmonica solo in it that rocks as hard as the guitar solo.
When the Levee breaks has some incredible harmonica playing from Plant on it.
No one can drop the beat better than Zeppelin!
I like how the young folks are grooving to a band that i first heard when i was their age back in the day.
Bonzo - R.IH. = Rock In Heaven. u left us way too early!!!cheers from CH
Who was thinking "they have noooo idea whats about to happen" and then 2:13 LOL
I know...I couldn't wait for it to happen...I even fast forwarded...lol
In my head I'm doing countdowns. 3-2-1-Drop!
I was just waiting on their reaction priceless!!!
Exactly!!!
Oh Yeah, and I'm sitting my Motown tub!!
ZEP don't play.
Total tribute to Sonny Boy. One of the biggest influences on the British Blues Boom.
*Their creativity and musicianship are TIMELESS....*
Love the way they start off soft an bluesy then drop in hard with slamming music an vocals! The diversity of sounds this band had is stunning. Long live Zepplin! PEACE!!!!!

@@joshuadeshaies7266 saw them live unbelievable
Best Rock and Roll band ever period. Learned it from the southen blues, sped it up and brought some deep base and what can I say about John the drummer who absolutely owns those sticks on the drums.
They played this live at the Royal Albert Hall, 1970. It’s amazing.
Good god good Lord led zeppelin they are truly untouchable
Just about every Zeppelin song is my favorite one. This one is included for sure!
That is Robert Plant on harmonica!!! When he was 16-17 years old he went and saw Sonny Boy Williamson in concert. He was in the restroom and Sonny was in there as well. Where'd you hear that?

Great Song from the best band ever.
Y'All really need to dive into Zeppelin II. The whole album is a masterpiece.

The brillant part is the song transitions so smoothly from Bluesy-blue straight into hard driving rock, not so easy to do.One of my all-time favorite Zep songs.
That intro part actually isn't bass, it's the neck pickup of the guitar.
This monster finished out what is imo the greatest rock album ever made!
This song draws you in close. . . It soothes you with quiet whispers. . It runs it's fingers slowly through your hair. . . It nibbles you on your neck. .

Jesus Christ
One my favorite zeppelin tracks on this album, love how slow it starts then the groove jumps in!!🤘🏻 the harmonica, that great bass groove!!
Since I've Been Loving You is a great blues song
Quite a lovely reaction to another Zepplin masterpiece! And Tasha has plenty of rhythm she knew exactly when to throw her hands up n shake! Go Tasha😍

this song is one of my favsss
This is the perfect reaction song for people who’ve never listened to zeppelin
Greatest. Rock. Band. Ever.

Keep Rocking My Brother and Sister 🤟
Yes!!! Such an underrated jam!! Hi Tasha 😍
This is from Led Zeppelin II--a collection of INCREDIBLE songs. All of them great. ALL OF THEM!
One of the best guitar riffs EVAH.

The couples that groove to Zeppelin are the COOLEST.
This Zep tune is like IN N OUT BURGER -IN, OUT and SATISFYING!
Peace, Y'all.

it's awesome knowing what's coming. they just have noooo idea! LOL. I love it!
You didn't expect the Zeppelin thunder ? Really ? You should know this by now. Ty for the reaction 👍😎👍
Serious drumming by John there. Damn I love this band!
maybe hey hey what can i do..next
I loved the anticipation of your surprise cuz we knew what was coming! 🤣🤣🤣
Love the fuzzy white chair boogie... hmmm... sounds like the making of a song to me...
Good rec from Cody. I've searched for reactions to this track before and found none. Another neglected Zeppelin classic is "For Your Life"
That song is grown on me through the years I absolutely love
Another classic blues trasformed with a powerfull riff in a rock blues song.
This is a great reaction. Because you never expected it.
This tune just knocks your socks off!
You still need to react to "The song remains the same/Rain Song" live at Madison
And then the Ultimate one. Tea for one (if you can find it)
Yes PLEASE!!
Ya'll try'n a kill 'em.
Tea For One is quite the slow blues jam
2.15.21. Check out Joe Bonamassa’s 🎸Tea for one version, Superb to say the least........🎯
@@stevensapyak7971 It is a very good rendition yes
Great Zeppelin songs that no one ever reacts to...Wanton Song, and Trampled Underfoot Live (excellent and funky). You would appreciate them.
"Wooo!" That's right, baby!!
It’s “foot dancing”.
One of their best blues-based jams….and that’s what they do!
Hahaha. The way you two are looking at each other, I'm guessing you're going to do it tonight to this song on repeat. LOL.
I always loved this one, but never knew about Sonny Boy Williamson. It's great reading these comments when people start adding in the contextual info! Now I will appreciate the artistry of the song even more.

The perfect ending song to imo the best album ever made, Led Zeppelin 2
Tasha's expression when the riff comes in......hahaha! Amazing.

Led Zeppelin definitely "Brought it home!!"
