PNM and UNC claim victory in by-elections

- Both the People's National Movement and the United National Congress celebrated victories in two by-elections on Monday.
The Elections and Boundaries Commission confirmed the Lengua/Indian Walk by-election in favour of the PNM, and Quinam/Morne Diablo for the UNC.
The EBC reported a higher voter turnout in both districts than the 2023 Local Government Elections.

Let us all work together,for the betterment of the country.This is easier said than done,the mentality of some,on both sides,create a stumbling block,to progress and decency,for everyone to live a good life.The overall unnecessary carnage,is not conducive to living in the best way.The children should be the first priority and very often,it is not.I want for all peace and goodwill and to see peace of mind in the country.
Rubbish. Working together to struggle and hoping for one side to do better ain't right. Both sides will never agree or work together. Trinidad have a management problem much more than a money problem. Friends giving friends alone and everything is a rent. Make housing affordable make groceries more affordable but no let people suffer and say people better off because they gone to fete and buy nice things. Shame on all politicians.
@@adamsamuel8593 I acknowledge all that you are saying and these issues are factual.Working together is easier said than done,this too is factual and politicians are the ones who can make it happen,if they are not bringing each other down.The children are the scapegoats and I still hope for better days.
