Potentially, if you get a mission that involves that area. The land claim block slightly reinforces the structures within it, allows you to pick up things like work stations, and it removes any mission-related area within its radius from trader mission lists. You can place as many land claim blocks as you want, but I think only about 3-4 can be active at any one time.
@ dang that’s kinda wack just because of how small an area they allow to be covered by the block. I think it should be able to get increased like in the skill point system so you can save larger areas of builds
@ To be fair to the developers, as someone who's played a number of base building games, 7DTD doesn't really require that much space. I'm currently building an end-game crafting/storage base right now, and the one I've plotted out in creative mode can EASILY fit within one landclaim zone. If you can't fit everything you need in there, then you're not taking advantage of the space afforded you. Besides, your horde night base should probably be a fair distance from your crafting/storage base anyway. That having been said, given that there's a number of skills in the game that are universally considered to be pretty bad (animal tracker, pack mule), I wouldn't mind if they swapped them out in favor of something like what you suggest.
i didnt know about the "force field" i have to try it next time, great build :D
The hardest way to make a cylinder, "Yeah okay, lets include it in our game" Sweet!!!

Awesome!! Ty for sharing the build

So do builds just get wiped by the game if you don’t have a land claim block near it?
