This looks a lot more like Jim Lee’s Batman than what Mafex did. Thick neck, smaller belt, thicker body made McFarlane’s Hush Batman more accurate. Just wish it came with more accessories like what Mafex did.
@@dHuntersReviews Im sorry, but i don't really see it. This McF body was designed to have a cape over his shoulders, like the 3 jokers one has. Thats why they drop so hard and look so god awful on every other figure without the cape like that. Besides this body being one of the worst of any figure, with the shoulders, smooth legs that are too long, torso that barelly moves, has creases only on the abdomen - you have the usual McF problems with cheap engineering, subpar articulation and the worst looking joints out of any manufacturer. As soon as you try and pose 99% of any McF figure, the elbows and knees look horendous. Like door hinges. There's no refinement anywhere on the figure, due to them needing to hit the price point. Mafex is multiple times superior in every way that a figure can be better than another. In every imaginable and tangible aspect, Mafex is better. The proportions are better. The engineering miles ahead. The smoothness of every joint. The look of the figure in every possible pose. The polish of it. It's not overrated. The reason most people like it is because a better Batman figure does not exist. Nobody made one yet. As soon as you pose this McF figure and you bend the knees, you bend the elbows - it starts to look like something a child cobled together from found parts. You take any Mafex figure at random, doesnt even have to be Hush - you bend its knees, its torso, its elbows. It looks amazing. It looks as good as a figure that needs to have articulation can look.
I ordered this guy off Amazon like five or six months ago and he FINALLY arrived. I have to say that it's a damn good figure. I'm really tempted to repaint the pouches on his utility belt a field drab color and leave the snaps on the pouches and belt buckle yellow. I definitely prefer this mold in black and grey as I feel the blue and grey works better with the classic yellow bat symbol and capsule utility belt for the most part.
@@dHuntersReviews Fair enough. I just usually associate the blue and grey Batman with the yellow oval and capsule utility belt and the black bat and leather pouches with the black and grey suit.
Yeah I had to look because I’ve never seen the raptor variant and I do like that one the most tbh. The dark blue with the light gray looked awesome just wish it was a different headsculpt
Got this guy a few days ago. I love him. He’s my best looking Batman at the moment. The proportions are great. The colors are great. The sculpt is great. The overall articulation is decent. My only complaint is the neck articulation not being the greatest
Awesome review, DH! I've got a couple of these P.O.'d from Target, but there's no telling when they'll get them in. I think I may like this one better than the single release blue and gray version. I'm just not crazy about the shade of blue they used on that figure. It's too green. It's more teal than blue. And that bugs me. Now, I really like the GameStop exclusive version that came with the Bat-Raptor. That one has the perfect shade of blue, IMO. I just don't want to buy another Raptor in order to get that figure. Plus it has the screaming head sculpt. If they had used that blue on the single packed figure it would have been a contender for my favorite Batman.
im praying that they re release that bat woman becasue i want her but i do not want to buy the 3 pack so if i cn find her solo on ebay or from someone in the community or anything im getting ehr immedialtiy!
Has this been released? I pre-ordered one from Amazon back in August, and it keeps getting delayed. I know the McFarlane Toy Store says it's in stock, but has it actually been released? Are people actually getting it from there?
They will get it eventually. I got mine from the McFarlane Toys Store, it is defective in stock there. People got it from somewhere else before McFarlane, i thought it was amazon, I could be wrong. Might check GameStop too.
I already have the blue/grey Hush Batman, which alternates with the Knightfall as my favourite, depending upon my mood. I wasn't thinking about getting the black version, but now I've seen your review, and although it's just a repaint, I might well reconsider. It looks great!
The best way I can describe it is if you already have the blue one you know the articulation isn’t the best but this one looks really good in almost any pose you get him in. Almost statue like and i really enjoy that
I know people say hes too big but honestly i think its that mcfarlane does not care about scale in the first place, At all in this line to be consistent. Cause his height works great with the bat family
@@dHuntersReviews I’ve had horrendous QC issues with McFarlane, maybe it’s just because I’m more of a marvel fan so I fall in with the marvel camp but alot of the Batman figures I’ve had were super loose or the bat symbol would be smeared. I think Mafex hush batman is very overrated
But the shoulder are looks wierd it destroy the proportion of the fig
The shoulder look bad on the Mafex too
I thought they look worse than McFarlane

@@ddgs2499but it’s still the best Batman for McFarland and it’s cheap
Size relative to other figures aside, this is one of the best Batman action figures of all time, in my opinion. Great review as always.
He’s very good
Slightly too tall
Yeah hes a very good normal batman. Like knightfall. Ill buy it for sure
Yes he’s excellent

He was blue grey in the actual Hush comics so I prefer that one. They are both excellent!

Makes sense
I love both looks!
@@dHuntersReviews For sure!
I love how many figure comparisons you do in all of your videos. And I agree with the head and neck being one piece, it's really annoying 😭
Yeah but at least it moves pretty good all things considered
I may get this one. I like this grey more than the darker grey. The three jokers Batman is my standard regular Batman.
This one is better
I like Knightfall and blue hush the most
I didn't even know about the GameStop exclusive figure. I like the darker blue tone of that one the most.
I also like it quite a bit
More than I expected

I do prefer the blue version though.

They will eventually rerelease her but it’ll be at least a year
This is the price to have her

Hush and Knightfall are my favorites too. I prefer the blue, but the black is very cool too.
Hush, knightfall or dark knights of steel?
Knightfall then hush for me
Vidéo très intéressante je viens de commander le Batman gris
I do not understand
The three jokers variant, the rare one with blue and grey is probable second place to nightfall.
I was never very fond of that one
I know people say hes too big but honestly i think its that mcfarlane does not care about scale in the first place, At all in this line to be consistent. Cause his height works great with the bat family
Yeah it works with most of the sidekicks
Mcfarlane DC Multiverse Hush Batman vs Kosher Salt
Who would win?
Kosher salt is quite course…that’s where my money is at.
If it didn't have the neck sculpted into the head, it would be perfect.
I like doing head swaps, so I him going to have to pass on this.
0.2 inches shorter and the neck
Then it’s perfect
nice 🔥😍
Thank you sir
If ONLY this figure's shoulders were where they should be, it'd be a decent figure.
What do you mean
@@dHuntersReviewsi think he means how low the shoulders sit next to the torso. Tho i still feel its a decent batman figure with that flaw
Never bothered me
