Given a lot of shortages we are experiencing, this is what I could get when I ordered. I wrapped some black tape around the ends of the negative, but this is temporary. Once I start my engine swap, I will probably relocate the battery and redo the cables. I will be the only one working on the car so, it shouldn’t be an issue. 👍
Great job my Name is Hector l have my 280zx 1979 if’s sitting on my garage for 6 years l changed all plugs new fuel pump m restored gas tank; new oil new filter new radiator cup new alternator all new house new distributor and still not cranking my be witting issues. I need some help could you will coming in my issue please thanks.
It’s hard to say. If it isn’t cranking at all, I would start with the starter and making sure the battery cables are supplying the correct amps and grounded. It’s possible the starter is locked up. Check that you can turn the engine over by hand to make sure the pistons aren’t rusted or seized.

Yes, that’s one of the first things I plan to do once I have it driving mostly reliably. I already have a new front grill and plan to shave the rear.

Why did you use two red cables on the battery? This will cause issues in the future.
