- Tampa's Urban Development is one of America's most ambitious urban transformations -- and it's starting with Ybor City, Tampa's historic district.
In this video, developers Darryl Shaw and Joshua Pardue give an exclusive look into Tampa's Gas Worx Project and 2 new developments in West Ybor: Casa Pedroso and Casa Gomez.
These projects will connect Tampa's Historic Ybor City with the Channel District and Water Street, completing the transformation of Tampa's urban core into a unified and connected community.

Beautiful Beautiful... now down to the nitty gritty.. my BIGGEST concern is money!!!! These projects are the projects of huge corporate real estate investment corporations. .with again huge pockets...who don't get the citizens of USA... we are the working people of our cities and are tied to the city's financial dynamics.. we all are not super rich .........so that means that the people who operate a businesses do not have the unlimited access to Money....which means what I refer to as the revolving rents ,that the will and already do exist...they will want part of the business, profits, and all expenses to be paid from the businesses renters...so which in long term they own you!!! So in the beginning all the dream that small entrepreneurs have are broken.....now what happens is nothing. .empty real estate....and we all have a brand new, ghost town, again now is the time of attorneys to give some leverage to small businesses owners....don't let these mega corporations take all any profits away from the Tampa and St Petersburg area....history does and will repeat it self....again........
We appreciate the concern. A lot of the property ownership is local Tampanians. The residents and small businesses that occupy these new structures will hopefully enjoy. There are always pros and cons with progress, but everyone involved in this project wants to find the right balance and keep it authentic to Ybor. Bring back the village mindset it once was.
I may have to ditch Miami for Tampa
You might have to! I have lived in both. Tampa has made such great gains in the last few years, but still has plenty of exciting chapters ahead.
The studio apartment will be going for $2500.00 a month welcome to new York City 2.0 version 😂😂😂😂
Dead ass though lmao
