He did a song with HER, Hold On on CMA that was awesome. Nothing Else Matters, I was wrong, Fire Away, some of my favorites. He did several songs with Justin Timberlake Saying Something, Drink You Away. Tennesse Whiskey . Nobody to Blame more country and he did Purple Rain by Prince.
I just saw him perform this song at the Grammys and as an R&B fan, I love this guy. This song is straight blues and the man has soul. I think music has the ability erase all the lines we draw between each other. We sure do need more of it now.

If country music were preschool, with its cheesy lines, formulaic childlike rhythms and commercialized fake bs, Chris Stapleton is university, smooth, polished, deep, authentic, and adult.
So in love with his vocal and this song is so good. 18mil views do not really justify how amazing this vocal performance is.

I was lucky enough to discover him in 2014 and I'm still going down the rabbit hole. lol He is amazing. Always listen to him live unless there is no live video. Also when you get to the songs with the woman singing alongside him, that is his wife. She also has an amazing voice. You Are My Sunshine to hear Morgane take the lead.

Been listening to him since his days in the steel drivers….. insane watching him quit singing and thinking those songs were the only things we’d ever have of his amazing voice, then his wife convinced him to do a remix of Tennessee whiskey and the rest has been history, every new song blows me away like it’s the first time I’ve ever heard him….. I’ll be telling my grandkids about his music….. such a generational talent unlike anything or anyone else today

I heard hisperformance on the recent CMA'S. THIS song right here. He ripped that song to shreds on his guitar. Just listening instrumentally rips your heart open and made you weep. All the rest of the performers needed to just put down the mic and go on home. It was that stinking good.

I don't consider myself a country fan, but I watched the CMA show the other night anyway. Lots of good music. But when Chris Stapleton came on you could tell from the first few notes something really good was about to happen. He's a no nonsense "get right down to business" kind of singer. He gave me goose bumps from the moment he opened his mouth. I just found this video of that performance and couldn't keep from crying while it played. Wow! A rare talent, for sure.

I’m just revisiting this performance with the orchestra at the Grammys. He left all the other performers in the dust. Saw him live in UBS arena 2023 NY. It was phenomenal.
No need for jumping around or dancing. He summons you to feel hear and see every part of a song. Really doesn’t need the background stuff. Just his singing is powerful. It fills the room.

My ole man and I rode our motorcycles all the way to Ottawa, took over 5hrs to see Chris Stapleton from Bradford, ON (Canada). OMG, it was so worth it. He sings with so much heart and soul, you feel his music, his voice go right through you. He is an amazing singer, song writer and performer. He's definity right up there with Freddy Mercury for me anyways. Totally different, but there voices penetrate your soul.

There are great musicians that have come in my lifetime of many years but, Chris Stapleton is just a cut above from all the rest with his Unique Style and sound that just penetrates your soul. Like the great Willie Nelsen he can make his guitar sing and dance with the unique way he plays. His voice gives you part County, Rock, and Blues and adds wonderment of who this man really is and, where he came from.The first time I seen him on video I saw this long haired guy with a cowboy hat and I immediately thought Country then he played and sang and he just floored me. I just watched him on U tube with John Meyer this morning and John was saying that he ask Chris what he wanted to sing with him and he said well we could sing one of yours or, one of mine or, we could just write one and, they did in one day Its called "JUST REMEMBERED THAT I Didn't CARE"and man was that beautiful check it out! He's so multi-talented he can sing with anyone and it will be a hit.You have your County Western, Country Rock, Rock and Roll, Heavy Metal, POP And, the Blues and along came Chris Stapleton the man that will be known for creating "Country Blues".It is my last wish to be able to see this man perform in person I truley believe he is the greatest thing that came along in a very long time we needed something fresh and totally new.Thanks for taking the time to read this.

My wife and I have always loved his music. When we watched this performance I told my wife “no way that is a live performance, he is lip singing” boyyyyy was I wrong. This dude is by far the greatest natural talent in the music industry across all genres. This performance made me pay $1500 for 2 tickets for upcoming concert in San Bernardino 6 months from now. He made all of my favorite all time artists look silly when it comes to live performances. Only musician I know that sounds better live compared to studio recordings. GOAT

As a musician I'll would like to comment 2 things. First, this kind of artist and artistry definitely deserves paying $1500 for a good spot to get the most of this kind of music performance. As a second thought, if you have this kind of understanding music and art sir, you definitely deserve investing that much in your self. I've had the pleasure of seeing Ray lamontagne live 4 times ..legend.. now this man is about in my time I'm going to have to work hard to get tickets for his already sold out show here in Dublin October 2024..
