I have an original size Bugaboo with a PAW .8, have flown it about half a dozen times before winter set in. Can't wait till spring. Your videos are an inspiration, thanks for sharing!
Did you use tissue/dope or a Solartex-type of covering? My airframe is now complete, I just have to decide on the covering method - hard for me to choose, which is why I have 3 or 4 uncovered projects on the go :)
All the models in the video are now covered in polyester tissue, applied using a heat sensitive adhesive, and initially heat shrunk with a covering iron. They are then finished with dope to seal the tissue and give it a final tight finish . The 150% Bugaboo was originally covered with nylon before being re-covered to try out the heavyweight polyester. Both coverings work well with this size of model although, the polyester is much easier to use.
Am planning to build one of these soon - did you need downthrust on your 100% version, and if so - how much? Thanks for the very enjoyable videos - I'm envious of the open spaces you can fly in!
I do not think we used any downthrust on any of the versions that we have built as all of them use modest power sources. It wouldn't be difficult to add a couple of washers under the rear motor mounting, if needed, as the engine is fully accessable for making minor adjustments. A degree or so of right thrust might be useful though. Good luck with your model, they are great fun to fly.

+Redwards 54 Ok, thanks for replying. I'm planning to use a PAW80 or 100, so I'll build it as per the plan. Keep your videos coming!
