I am a positivist but let me make a prediction. This value free lecture series will be the most sought after and one stop solution for all the sociology aspirants. Good thing is that you can watch it for hours while it gets more and more interesting.
Sir, what you are doing is beyond appreciation. In this materialistic world you are a saviour for those students who have not joined a premium coaching. Thank you sir 🙏
Thank you so much sir ...your lectures is seriously helping a lot to understand this subject and political theories also..Now i am able to relate sociology with all other subjects also...your examples are extraordinary sometime😅.
Sir Herbert spencer talked rigid society but in reality is possible. If its possible society can't evolve in various perspective to ancient to medieval to modern ?
31:55 Sir I have an example of compulsive cooperation in my mind, how members of a party are bound to vote in a way how their party issues instructions otherwise there will be anti-defection proceedings against him/her. Can I use this example? Is it relevant?
Can anybody explain this..... State is also part of society? If nature has its own course, that means state is also outcome of nature's course.. so, how can we say that state is interfering? It must be that, state is also contributing in evolution of society and not interfering.. thoughts..???
The state is a social construct formed by society, particularly those in power. Either it is a small group or a democratic process. When someone say the state interferes with people, it is the equivalent of saying a rich person interfering with poor’s people matter
We will covering these topics at the end of paper-1... We will be covering the priority areas first.... Also these topics have less thematic linkages with the rest of paper-1, so they can be easily covered in the end once we have done the high focus areas first!!
