Shannon is absolutely killing in 2024. Getting pushed out of Undisputed has transformed him. Inspiring
💯💯💯
I just hope he works on his interviewing skills. It feels like the platform blew up to quick for his skills to mature with it
give it time or this might be good it feels like a natural conversation @CMoore-fw2it
I agree the guests feel more relaxed and give more@@Lnemo77
💯
Dame is about to go on Shannon's show and do a Katt William level response.
That would be epic
you know that!!!!!!!!! JAY Z time is up allegedly watch Sloane Bella!
😅😅 it's definitely coming (Dame Dash voice...PAUSE)
Dame will go on IIWII before club shay shay
Yes cause this is Guy is not it.
“Who helping you with these questions“
No bigger compliment to your staff
Agreed...Aha. On has assembled a solid team an I'm so proud of him.
Doesn't take a genius to ask a good question... especially to someone who has so much information to offer
💯. All around great job
Love hearing about a local legend from Bedstuy making moves like Jayz and Biggie. Two iconic legends.
Jayz took the game by storm after Biggie passed away and never dropped the torch 🔥. Just like what Jay predicted on his single "The City Is Mine". 💪😎
He wishes Ye just kept making beats for him too
Jay is the GOAT, no question. He checks off on all the requirements and more.
😂😂😂😂
😂😅😂
JAY has always beem in my playlist and is universal.
you wont once him dating under gae girls like riri sat 15
Great conversation. Shay Shay needs that 50 cent convo💯
that would be fire! ♋️+♋️
So many people c9mplain about change, but Jay made positive changes and gave us more to appreciate in this culture created by us for all.
Jay has become a legend in his own right and his legacy continues after all these years since Biggie passed away 27 years ago.
There is no way you can discredit Jayz since he ventured on his own, like Biggie to be a conglomerate.
Club Shay Shay has the podcast game on lock!!!!! The car interview is so dope!!!!!
It's good to hear this side of the stories. Hope the best for Dame and Jay.
Whos helping with this questions. Respect you Shannon for all of your hard work
@ckidd8681 Stoute wrote that question... Shannon looks good for asking it...
You really think he recalls what he did 20+ years ago in this much depth, and answers immediately?
@@backupdancer3720yes I remember important things from 20 years ago

Amazing to hear Jay's story by dame, thank you!
I remember buying those singles and tapes From Biggie Jay and Nas back in the day.
Legendary
Legendary days, my first two albums purchased was BIG ready to die and Jay Vol 2 and that was 4 years apart.
Thank you for posting this interview. Jay is a businessman.
Jay has been on his business grind since the 80s, and just like his boy Biggie, he took hip hop to new levels.
Thank you for telling the true story behind the breakup
If you think about, Jay created his own niche.
Truth is jayz coat tailed various artists, borrowed n stole their styles & songs & beats, many things- but u can’t take away his high IQ to take himself to the top .. genius level
@@theunpopulartruth7668nah it's only one jay

Great too see Jayz story being explained by Steve. Jay has contributed to the music medium on so many levels, its uncanny. Thank you for this interview!
Jayz contributions to hip hop can never be questioned.
Dame’s contribution roc-a -fella roc a wear paid in full will go down in history
8:06 I was impressed at that question. Shannon out here really doing his homework in journalism asking the right questions
UNC pushing the culture forward. This is amazing. Dude killing it.

U might want to build a bigger better higher barrel for Unc because the crabs are out to drag him into the barrel if possible 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿

Now, this is cool. The car interview!!! Awesome

Jay is credited for being a smart man and a good man for changing his life after all these years growing up in Brooklyn, Ny like the late Biggie Smalls.
Jay got there because he put in the work like Biggie, who was unfortunately taken down in his prime.
Bingo
you Think he had a big work ethic ???
Jay was able to grow because he was a business man and a hustler who wanted to grow. Great story!
Great point
I believe that Beyoncé played a role in Jay-s success as well.
Having the right partner in life is key!
Jay z got a boss, he ain't no hustler 😅
Wrong Whyte Jews doing the same thing. Dame was doing
From Marcy Projects to being worth over a billion. He's the definition of a hustler.
Jayz held is down long enough, not only is the city is his, so is the game.
Jay has contributed so much to the culture. That's definitely a given truth.
Jay is considered a wise man because he never gave into the tactics that dame was into. Great episode!
You will have a boss till the end of time. Some people aren't built to boss up.
Curious to know what tactics those were..
@@MarcusLeonard307doing whatever & losing your morals for money
Jay is considered a wiseman because he is a billionaire. Dame isn't considered a wiseman because he appears to be a bitter man that clearly stands on principle and ''lost out on a bag.'' There is a saying that ''not all money is good money.'' These two men are very different. Jay clearly snaked Dame and regardless to ''how big or small Dame's ego is'' or how ''he talks to people'' Jay-Z knows that he owes his old friend an apology. Steve is choosing his words wisely to explain the situation, and trying to chop it up to ''It's just business'' mindset, but there still should be a level of integrity in a person, business or not. When I hear Dame speak, I don't hear someone that believes in ceilings. I guarantee you that Dame taught Jay-Z everything he knows about business, and Jay crossed Dame out of deals, and this is why Dame is upset.... it became about power and greed.
Nobody snaked Dame. Dame's ego and tactics along with not wanting to evolve cost Dame
Jay jas been consistently getting so much attention since he is a smart businessman like Biggie.
Many will record history showing that Jayz is the greatest.
“I’m focused man, tell stoute to holla at me man”
Yes ya jigga man be ballin…

Dame wasn't supposed to eat off hov forever
He's still trying to. Just on a negative tip.
As long as he owns a % of Reasonable Doubt he will
@@ramonecoleman5588 Heard he had to sell it recently???
Its not so much eating off of someone it's working with someone. Dame cant do it. In his mind he's everyone's boss.
But the White Man Did
Yoooo. I was not expecting this from club shay shay. So dope!
Jayz got tired of splitting that money up and realized he didn't need Dame anymore
I personally didn’t think it was about money, more about Dame’s shallow ego. Jay and Dame can’t be in the same room, I am broke compare to Jay and wouldn’t want Dame around me.
@eetv7840 Dame cool but I feel like me and him would bump heads too often to be friends or business partners. Personally I would do something that would jeopardize my freedom if he talked me down like did to Kevin Lyles and others. I seen people here in the D get smoked for less
@@elbowgang9715 100% life sentence pending.
Period
That wasn't it it was nobody wanted to deal with Dame in cooperate world
And Dame has been mad ever since
Lol. Right .
Jayz has made an indelible mark to hip hop and to the culture.
Oh man, this was fantastic. Can't wait to listen to the full interview. Unc you are killing it.
Jayz has contributed just like Biggie to the culture and artist like these are considered GOATs 🐐 for a reason. Thank you.
Jay took the game to higher levels kust like what Biggie was doing over 30 years ago.
The most dangerous person in room is the person that doesn’t realize that he’s that he’s the problem
Loved this interview
Great point. Also Jay is where he at because he was thinking like Biggie and becoming a conglomerate.
Club Shay Shay has the podcast game on lock right now 🔥
Jay Z seen the big picture Dame seen the crayon book
Jay has created a strong legacy and it shows all the work he put in after all these years.
Exactly. From Roc A Fella, Roc A Wear, 40/40 Club, Roc Nation, D’usse and the countless artists he’s put on? Can’t knock down Jay’s hustle. That’s why I’m a huge fan 🙌🏾
Thank you Shannon for the amazing interviews that you have been conducting lately
In short, Jay Z was more likeable, agreeable, easier to work with. That is all it came down to. Nothing more nothing less. One works better in a corporate setting and one doesn’t.
Jay Z is the TALENT and Businessman, Dame has to rely on others.
If ppl knew & simply understood that Dame was actually a textbook classic unevolved Taurus male. They have some good qualities yet the bad ones such as Egoistical + closed minded & inflexible + stubborn & resistant to change + prone to Narcissism & tyrannical control freakish issues. Sadly outweigh the F out of the good qualities
And now he's apart of the evil ssa Elite doing effed up ish and people are on here praising him like he's some accomplished god smdh. In order to get to the top you've sacrifice and do something strange for a piece of change. Just look at Puff Daddy, Jay's NEXT just watch and see.
Jayz actually helped to change the laws to help people get a second chance in life.
Some people don’t see it . And just wait and see cuz he has something big for his community in the near future
That man don’t have nothing for us😂 stop praising these celebrities
Biggie Jayz and Nas is still the holy trinity
In New York😅
This is a great interview. I can hear Dame throwing a fit about Steve's statement.
Can Dame lose anymore hair follicle.
Great interview Shay.
Interview while the car driving is first class genius, has a different feel
Yeah but It's been done quite a few times already.... I've even seen it in a yellow taxi in NYC.
Why is Steve stoute talking to a tight end
It was an entire game show in a car based in NY not too long ago this is nothing new
Jaybis a mastrr of his craft.
Jay's story is part of true American dream which continues inspire millions.

I like learning the stories of my era of music… Nas & Jay are my fav rap artists..salute to Mr Steve..
One thing you can agree, Jayz definitely has done a lot of great things, and he has allowed hip hop grow into a larger medium since he has been in his position. BIGGIE would be proud of him as well.
Jayz brought change into the game and made it fun to be a businessman and icon. Thank sir.
I love how this interview was edited. It kept me interested the whole time.
Jay become more business focus and driven which is why he basically rise to the top like cake mix and Biggie.
Stoute said what we all knew: Dame blew the bag. Dame is now regretting his perpetual petulance and dissing Jay every 5 minutes. He burned bridges when he didn't realize Jay was a Hustler and kept his future moves in silence
So making deals for the company which you have a partner with behind his back is being a hustler no that’s a snake because if there wasn’t for Dame, there would be no j.
@@MagicEmpireTVdame brought Camron to label behind jay back so from there anything goes
@@MagicEmpireTVthat’s false. Jay was the foundation for everything. Yeah in the beginning Dame did a lot of the grunt work but once they became famous and successful Dame became redundant.
Dame didn’t blow the bag Jay Z used him til he couldn’t use him no more & moved on like he did countless ppl but yall blind to it bc yall think money over everything right lol
@@Ayyeeeooo Jay can’t use a dude that never accomplished anything for himself. It doesn’t make sense. What businesses did Dame build before Jay? What successful artists did he put on before Jay? All Dame did was bring street money to the table along with Jay and Biggs. Hov’s talent and drive is what made everything happen.
I love that we appreciate the same simplicities. I love the production and vibe. ❤ well done. Also the tent.

He didn’t say exactly what broke Roc-A-Fella Records up but I’ll tell y’all the straw that broke the camel’s back. The Armsdale Vodka deal that Dame and Big Burk didn’t include Jay in is what broke them up. They were supposed to split everything 3 ways but left Jay out of that deal and when Jay found out he was decided to break away from them. Dame felt away bcuz Jay was getting money for writing for other artists (Dr Dre) and Dame wasn’t getting none of that publishing money so it was all kind of a misunderstanding with ego mixed in
