Love it! I'm a big proponent of using whatever you have on hand to aquascape with. As I like to say, limitation inspires imagination and innovation. What can you do with what you have? Sometimes being restricted to using only what you have and not shopping for more forces you to be more creative, and that's when the magic happens. Great video, Wayne!
I love how real all of this video is, from the desk lamp, to the filming from your phone, to supporting your local fish store (which btw I will definitely be making a day trip there this summer considering its only about an hour or two away from me, and on the way to where my family is from in Fleeton Point) thank you for bringing more support to your LFS. My vote is electric blue acara, because then I will be super jealous!
Awesome video I enjoyed it! Serpae tetra is my favourite tetra to. It was first tetra species I own when I start after moved on from cichlids. I would go with pair rams instead of the Jack Dempsy. Keep safe.
Awesome! Great video! Love those tetras. Honestly not sure I would put dempsey's in there. But it not my tank, it's yours. Do what makes you happy. Lol. I can't wait to see it finished. ☺
I'd love to see a paludarium, and I agree, aquascapes are pretty, but for a natural look and behavior this type of aquarium is better. Only thing I'd change is to add another smaller rock on the right side of the tank for balance and repetition. As for stoking I'd choose the serpae, rummy noses, some albino or super red bristlenoses, some type cory and rams.
Just found your channel. I like your style as you are down to earth. You are a good man for the fish keeping community...thank you

What is the name of the plant / wood you used? Can I find it in lowlands in WI.?

maybe even throw some black neons in, I love that kind of combo, planing to do a tank with it eventually
Is that pecan tree branches?
With tetras go with the Rams maybe the Acaras. Gouramis might be nice too.
I would love to see rams in there 😁
I wish Florida had more materials from the Wilde
Yay Gordon’s!
I'll put the Jack Dempsey in it
Just FYI, I have hit like on this video 10 times at least. I even did a re-start and UA-cam keeps removing it. So annoying. Lol
good idea for a video!
blue rams
I just found this. I'm not judging, but that looks really bad. Like a 8 year old did it. You didnt even clean the tank dude...
