Thanks for this review.....iv hardly seen any good reviews for beamswork and based on the paper specs they seems really good. I'm also planning to getting a unit to try a planted
I have a 20 gallon tall. I was looking at a DA 24 inch full spetrum but i heard the DA version is really too bright for a 20 gallon. Its around 3k lumens for a 24 inch one. Which one would you recommend me for low light plants.
ive had them for over a year now the 6ft and the 4ft models the 4fts are working great the 6s i cant say the same i have 2 and both have burrned out on the ACDC adapter beware im getting more because their so cheap so its not like im fear mongering but just buyer BEWARE! No BS one of my ACDC freaking expanded and melted i shit ya not cheers all and great video Wayne always enjoy your stuff and hit me man with a message with your URL id love to feature you bubba on my channel, cheers fish bud :)
Light units that incorporate the 5730 chips are reasonable for the price and over tanks that are no higher than 18'' you will get moderate to high light. the 5730 chips are 0.5W Leds have come a long way since the initial release, however Leds won't last forever so why pay more than you have to? Heat and Moisture are the killers of leds.
Well I was debating on getting these lights cause of the price... I thought it wasn’t going to be good, but it looks like I found my new lights! Thanks wayne...
When you run your light, toward the peak of daylight hours until they turn off. More heat more draw. Put a fan over your lights and cover your tank. You old light died from overvolt which you can avoid, coupled with you in uncovered tank. Moisture killed your lights. Cover you tank or you new cheap lights will go the same way!
You old lights are still viable, I guarantee all your Seiter points for your lights and on the switch are corroded. Clean them and oil them with penetrating oil and your lights work again!
Too much blue from that aquaneat i dont see why you like that... To me it sounds like youre just excited by something new.... But normal full spectrim for a planted aquarium is not blue like that.. Every video ive seen the tanks look too blue. It looks like a saltwater light.. Its a proven fact that plants do not grow best in blue light.. they grow better in true full spectrim 6500 to 8000k at the highest.. Too much blue like that washes out the colors of plants and fish... Blue us good to help bring out colors but in very small amounts.. too much blue makes green on plants look terrible.. with red and yellow fish too much blue looks bad as well it doesnt show their colors.. You will be looking at a green plant with a blue ligjt shining on it.. Mix an actinic bulb with a 6500k bulb on my T5 fixture and i can replicate what your aquaneat is doing.. It looks good at first until you realize how it washes the true colors out on a tank and fish..
You have some of the greatest spontaneous reactions.
we keep it real brother lol

hey man appreciate it, is that what brought you to the channel, or were you already subbed ?
Wayne's Fish World Hey Wayne I was an old time subscriber probably at least for the past 2-3 years 😁
Just ordered the 48" beamswork for my buddy's 75 about 3 weeks ago. Was very impressed.
hi bud, was it doing good for plants?
Yeah what do you do when your tank leaks....?
I run the beamswork led on my planted tank and yes they are worth it for the price you pay
i already see growth on my crypts in my goldfish tank :)

I have the 72 inch beamWorks on a 150 planted tank I love it plants love it. and I have the timer as well.
I use beamsworks an aquaneat lights on most of my tanks. Looks good man
Maybe the submersibility might explain some of the price difference. Tanks for the video!
I was about to buy fluval. Thanks for video
noooo problem :)
I bought a 48" beamswork about 3 years ago. LEDs started failing one by one after about 6 months. 80% of the diodes had failed by the 2 year mark.
ahhhh that sucks, but its still better to replace a 40 dollar light then a 299 dollar light
same has happend to me on the 72s i have two and neither of them work after a year :(
right on Wayne
Your angel fish look great I have some I’m growing out hopefully they pair up and I get some breeding pairs
if you have a mix of males and females its just a matter of time, good luck
Wayne's Fish World thankyou
