Lake Meridian GIANT Kokanee!

Took the kayak out on Lake Meridian again. Nice weather out on the lake, but got out on the water a bit late. A good lesson learned for this lake today is to get be out early on nice sunny day. Great day fishing as usual on the Hobie Pro Angler trolling for kokanee in this local lake. Check out my blog below for more details and tips on this fishery. I’m moving to an apartment on Lake Meridian in October from California, and I’m less experienced with fresh water fishing. I’ll have access to a dock and a kayak, which I’m super excited about. Any big recommendations for newcomers to the area?

Next time wear a spf shirt, you dont want to get the scent of that sun block all over you gear. Kokanee are pretty picky eaters.
