Hong Kong Ballet’s La Bayadère will take place at Hong Kong Cultural Centre during 2-4 June, with lavish staging by the legendary dancer/choreographer Vladimir Malakhov. Get ready for the golden glory of La Bayadère in the most mysterious part of ancient India’s jungles!
Named ‘Dancer of the Century’ by critics, Malakhov’s accolades include prestigious awards at competitions in Moscow and Paris. He was Artistic Director of Berlin State
Ballet from 2004 to 2014 and has been invited to teach at ballet companies worldwide over the years.
We’re honoured to have Malakhov in our rehearsal studio working with the dancers and thrilled for the three international ballet superstars joining us: The Royal Ballet’s charismatic principal dancers 𝓜𝓪𝓻𝓲𝓪𝓷𝓮𝓵𝓪 𝓝úñ𝓮𝔃 and 𝓥𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓶 𝓜𝓾𝓷𝓽𝓪𝓰𝓲𝓻𝓸𝓿 and Berlin State Ballet’s much sought-after principal dancer 𝓘𝓪𝓷𝓪 𝓢𝓪𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓴𝓸.

傳奇舞者/編舞家馬拉科夫，改編佩蒂巴的《舞姬》，將於6月2-4日假文化中心作亞洲首演。愛與復仇﹑深宮陰謀﹑致命的美艷激情，一切盡收《舞姬》的金碧輝煌中，讓觀眾盡情沉浸在遠古印度森林的神秘國度。
馬拉科夫被西方藝壇讚譽為「世紀舞者」，贏得莫斯科及巴黎多項舞蹈比賽的權威大獎，2004-14年出任柏林國家芭蕾舞團，及後到不同舞團指導。
港芭十分榮幸得到馬拉科夫親臨指導排練，並邀請到三位國際頂尖的芭蕾舞者參與演出：皇家芭蕾舞團首席舞蹈員瑪麗安莉拉．努尼斯、華第．蒙塔吉諾夫，以及柏林國家芭蕾舞團首席舞蹈員伊安娜．莎蘭高，和港芭舞者交流演出。
