You should do different types of dancers during their break. Like in between classes. The one who does homework. The one who reads. The one who stretches/workouts. The one who watches all of the classes. The one who sleeps. The one who eats. Etc!
That is an amazing idea!

The one who is gossiping… The one who is waiting for their food (from Door Dash or their parent).. the one who is doing Acro tricks down the hall.. The one who is dancing in the middle of the lobby 😂

You should do a different types of dancers in the rehearsal, or different types of dancers in an audition if you haven’t already! Also a different types of dancers in the dance friend group would be awesome!

different types of younger dancers? like toddlers? On another note: the woman fighting with her daughter and threatening to pull her out of the comp-- i felt that on a whole other level

The Dance Moms Easter eggs made me so happy
i hate moms who think their child is the best child in the world. like i’m a figure skater and at a comp this weekend a month literally goes “yea she gets first immediately cause she’s not going against anyone. i mean she would get first regardless. she could go against 10 other girls and still get first” and THEN to really top it all off, after she competes someone went to her and goes “your daughter did really good!” and the mom responds “wells that’s her. she’s always like that.” like she was good, but my moms a coach and she didn’t do a lot of stuff right…and then those parents are typically the ones who are mean to their children when they lose.

My favorites are the mini mom and the cheerleader mom. The first is a bit uninformed, but seems overall supportive and the cheerleader is embarassing but extremely wholesome and positive. Many of the other moms would be a nightmare to have.. the gossipping mom, bar mom, etc. The disinterested mom looks like she's just going through some stuff, so I'm wishing her the best.

the anti-social mom is my mom. I just recently switched dance studios during covid and since were new my mom doesn't really talk to the moms. the only moms she talks to are two of my new friends mom and 2 others that I knew from my old studio who are at the new studio I am in.
And then there’s the clueless dad(even tho this is different types of dance moms)

The mom at 6:38 was my dance studio teacher because I walked into the building the competition was in 5 minutes late but I was all ready except I just needed to put my shoes on and she was yelling at me to hurry up even tho we weren’t on for another 30 minutes just because she wanted to take pictures

paying for programs and wristbands??? the competition i work for doesn't do that. everything is included
